Very severe ME/CFS

Please pray for my health to improve. I'm a ### year old woman with very severe ME/CFS; three years ago I lived a normal life and now my only functioning is rolling over in bed or going to the toilet. I can't really tolerate audio or TV so I spend 24/7 in a dark room with my thoughts. Every day I keep fighting but I could use an extra boost of prayer to help restore some level of function, I want to live.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about your condition and we are here to intercede and support you through prayer and biblical encouragement.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is with you in your suffering. He has not forsaken you, and He knows your condition. As it is said in Psalm 34:18,

“Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.”

We also want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, for it is written in John 14:6,

“Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

And in Acts 4:12,

“There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our sister who is battling severe ME/CFS. Father, You know her struggles and the isolation she feels. We pray that You would touch her body and bring healing and restoration. Give her the strength to endure each day and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we also pray for her spiritual well-being. Draw her closer to You and help her to feel Your presence in her darkest hours. Remind her of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ.

“And the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.” Luke 12:7

While we pray for your healing, we also encourage you to use this time to draw closer to God. He may be using this trial to bring you into a deeper relationship with Him. Remember that He is faithful and His love for you is unchanging.

Lastly, although we understand that your condition makes it difficult to tolerate audio or TV, we encourage you to find ways to engage with God’s Word, even if it’s through silent reading or listening to short audio clips of scripture when you can tolerate it. God’s Word is alive and active, and it will bring you comfort and hope.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
