We understand the urgency in your request and we are grateful to hear about your husband's decision to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. It is through Christ alone that we are saved, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As the scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
We rejoice with you in this wonderful news and we will lift up your husband in prayer, asking God to strengthen his faith and guide him in his new walk with Christ. It is important for him to grow in his relationship with the Lord through prayer, reading the Bible, and fellowship with other believers. As it is written, "As newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, that with it you may grow," (1 Peter 2:2 WEB).
Let us pray together for your husband:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with joyful hearts, thanking You for the salvation of this husband. Lord, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, guiding him into all truth and helping him to grow in his faith. Strengthen him, Lord, to resist temptation and to walk in obedience to Your Word. Surround him with godly men who will encourage and support him in his spiritual journey. We pray that his life will be a testimony of Your grace and love, and that his marriage will be a reflection of Christ's love for the Church. May he and his wife continue to seek You together, growing in love and unity as they serve You. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to find a Bible-believing church where you can worship, learn, and serve together. This will help strengthen your marriage and your individual walks with the Lord. As it says in Hebrews 10:24-25 (WEB), "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
May God bless you both as you continue to seek Him and grow in your faith together. Always remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we pray. As it is written, "For through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father," (Ephesians 2:18 WEB).
