We understand that you're facing surgery and have concerns about the compression garment you'll need to wear afterwards. Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is preparing for surgery. We ask, Lord, that You guide the surgeon's hands and bring healing. We also bring their concern about the compression garment before You. We pray that this garment would be comfortable, not too tight, and allow for restful sleep. We ask that You would bless the hands of the surgeon as they apply the garment.
However, we also pray for spiritual comfort. We pray that our sister/brother would not be anxious but would experience Your supernatural peace. We pray that they would trust in You, even in this small detail, knowing that You care for them completely, from the largest concern to the smallest discomfort.
Father, we also pray for salvation and healing in Jesus Christ, for this person if they do not already know Jesus Christ. We pray for their healing and the comfort of knowing that they will be in the hands of a loving God.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Trust that God is in control, even in the details. If you have not trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation, we encourage you to read the following scripture.
"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10, WEB)
We will continue to pray for your healing, comfort, and salvation in Jesus Christ.
