Humble Servant of All
Please pray that I would have wisdom in knowing whether or not to call my landlord to come spray for the bugs in our home. There was another request I had but I've forgotten it now. Please pray that my ### will not be stubborn. Our family doctor recently moved to his own practice after being in a group practice. The group practice shut down unexpectedly and now the insurance companies are penalizing all the doctors who were previously in this group practice because of the unexpected shut down. Because of this, our family doctor is now having trouble accepting certain insurances because the companies don't want to work with his practice since he was one of the doctors in this group practice that shut down. He wasn't able to accept the insurance I had when he first opened his new practice so I changed mine to be able to stay with him because he's an excellent doctor. Doing this ended up being a blessing in many ways as the new insurance I'm on is much better. Now, he is unable to accept my ###'s insurance for the same reason that I noted but my ### doesn't want to change his insurance. Instead, he's going to let the insurance company send him a doctor. I'm so worried because our family doctor is wonderful and my ### has high blood pressure which needs to be monitored wisely. But my ### won't listen and has a hard time with change. I really want to complain to the insurance companies about how they're treating our doctor but I don't know if this is a good idea or not. Please pray God will force my ### to change his mind or have to change his insurance to keep seeing my doctor. Thank you.

We come before the Lord with your requests, seeking His wisdom and intervention in each situation. First, regarding the matter of calling your landlord about the bugs in your home, we pray for discernment. The Bible tells us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Father, we ask that You grant clear wisdom to know whether to contact the landlord or handle this situation in another way. Give peace in the decision and protection from any harm or discomfort these pests may cause.

We also lift up the forgotten request to You, Lord. You know the details of our hearts even before we speak them. In Psalm 139:4, it says, "For there is not a word on my tongue, but, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether." We trust that You will bring to mind what was forgotten or reveal Your will in this matter according to Your perfect timing.

Now, concerning the stubbornness of your husband, we turn to Scripture for guidance. Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and remove any resistance to change that is not aligned with Your will. We pray that he would see the importance of continuing care with your trusted family doctor, especially given his high blood pressure. Help him to understand that this is not just about convenience but about his health and well-being, which is a gift from You to be stewarded wisely.

We also pray for your family doctor, who is facing unjust challenges due to the actions of others. In Romans 12:19, we are reminded, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Father, we ask that You intervene in this situation. Provide favor for your doctor with the insurance companies and open doors that no man can shut. We pray that justice would prevail and that he would be able to continue serving his patients without undue hardship. As for the idea of complaining to the insurance companies, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance in this. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider speaking with your doctor or seeking godly counsel before taking action, as it may or may not be the best course.

We rebuke the spirit of stubbornness and pride that may be influencing your husband’s decisions. In James 4:7, we are called to "be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that any influence that is not of God would be broken in Jesus’ name. We also encourage you to approach your husband with gentleness and respect, as 1 Peter 3:1-2 instructs wives to win their husbands "without a word, by the behavior of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure behavior." Pray for opportunities to share your concerns in love, trusting that the Lord can work through your words and actions.

Finally, we want to address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you or your husband have not placed your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first and most important step in aligning our lives with God’s will.

Heavenly Father, we lift all these concerns to You, trusting in Your sovereignty and goodness. We ask that You would move in each situation according to Your perfect will. Grant wisdom, peace, and unity in this family. Soften hearts, open doors, and provide favor where it is needed. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for wisdom as you navigate these situations. First, let's ask God to guide you in deciding whether to call your landlord about the bugs. We trust that He'll give you clarity, just as He promised in James 1:5. We also believe that He'll provide peace and protection, whatever the outcome.

We're lifting up that forgotten prayer request too. We know that God knows what's on your heart, even if you've forgotten the details. We trust Him to bring it to mind or reveal His will in His perfect timing, as Psalm 139:4 assures us.

Now, about your husband's stubbornness, we're asking God to soften his heart, as Proverbs 21:1 reminds us that God can turn a person's heart as He desires. We pray that he'll understand the importance of continuing care with your trusted family doctor, especially given his high blood pressure. We also ask God to intervene in your doctor's situation, providing favor with the insurance companies and opening doors that no one can shut. We encourage you to seek God's guidance about complaining to the insurance companies, considering wise counsel from your doctor or trusted friends.

Let's also pray against any spirit of stubbornness or pride influencing your husband's decisions. We ask God to help him be subject to Him, as James 4:7 tells us. And we encourage you to approach him with gentleness and respect, trusting that God can work through your words and actions, as 1 Peter 3:1-2 instructs.

Finally, we want to remind you that our access to the Father is through Jesus Christ alone, as John 14:6 tells us. If you or your husband haven't placed your faith in Jesus, we urge you to do so. Romans 10:9 tells us that confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead leads to salvation.

Heavenly Father, we lift all these concerns to You, trusting in Your sovereignty and goodness. We ask that You would move in each situation according to Your perfect will, granting wisdom, peace, and unity in this family. Soften hearts, open doors, and provide favor where needed. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer over these pressing concerns. We have been lifting up your need for wisdom regarding the pest issue in your home, asking the Lord to make the right path clear—whether to call your landlord for help or trust Him for another solution. We also continue to pray for your family doctor, that God would open doors with the insurance companies and provide favor for his practice during this challenging time.

Most of all, we have been interceding for your loved one’s heart to soften toward this necessary change. We’ve asked the Holy Spirit to remove stubbornness and replace it with peace, trusting that God can work even in difficult circumstances to bring about His best. We’ve also prayed for protection over your loved one’s health, that his blood pressure would remain stable and that he would receive the care he needs.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if wisdom came regarding the bugs, if your doctor found resolution with the insurance, or if your loved one’s heart has begun to shift—we would love to rejoice with you! Please share a praise report so we can give thanks together.

If these burdens still weigh on you, we want to keep standing in the gap. Don’t hesitate to post again so we can continue lifting these needs before the Lord. He hears every cry, and we believe He is at work even when we can’t see it yet. May you feel His presence and peace as you trust Him in every detail. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
