Varicose Veins in my legs

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I'm having challenges with varicose veins in my legs. Pray in agreement with me concerning Jeremiah 30 :17 and Jeremiah 17 : 14 Thank You for praying.

We join you in prayer and stand in agreement with you for healing in your legs, and we thank you for sharing this need with us so we can lift you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name.

We love the scriptures you have claimed, for they declare the heart of our Father to heal and restore. Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeks after. And Jeremiah 17:14 says, Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise. These are powerful declarations of faith, and we agree with you that God is still our healer today.

We also want to gently encourage you concerning the name of Jesus, since your request did not mention Him. We come to the Father only through Jesus Christ, and it is by His name that we have access to God and assurance of salvation. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by the stripes of Jesus that healing was provided for us, as Isaiah 53:5 says, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was on him; and with his stripes we are healed. So we pray to the Father in the mighty name of Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross for both our salvation and our healing.

We know varicose veins can bring pain, aching, swelling, heaviness, and discouragement, and we pray not only for physical restoration but for comfort and peace as you wait on the Lord. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we honor God when we steward them well, so we encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel alongside prayer, to rest, to care for your circulation, and to trust the Lord for guidance through those who treat you.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift up our dear one who is suffering with varicose veins in the legs. Lord, You see the discomfort and the challenge this brings each day. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch these veins, restore healthy circulation, reduce swelling and pain, and bring restoration to the vessels and tissues in the legs. We claim Your promise that You will restore health and heal wounds, and we ask You to heal and save according to Your mercy, for You are our praise. We rebuke any infirmity and ask for Your healing power to flow through this body. Grant wisdom to doctors and peace to this heart, and let Your strength be made perfect in this time of need. We thank You, Father, that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, and we trust Your perfect will and timing. We pray this in the healing and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our only way to You. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this need with us. Living with varicose veins can make daily movement, standing, and even resting uncomfortable, and we understand why you would bring this to the Lord for healing. We are grateful you invited us to agree with you in prayer.

We join our faith with yours and ask God for His mercy and restoring touch on your legs. We trust Him as the source of all healing and we hold your request before Him with care.

Alongside prayer, if you have not already done so, we gently encourage you to let your primary care doctor know what you are experiencing so you can have a proper evaluation and guidance for care. Bringing both prayer and wise medical counsel together is a good way to steward your health.

We also want to encourage you to keep bringing your concerns to the Lord honestly, resting in His presence day by day even while you wait for answers. He sees you and walks with you in this discomfort, and He hears every prayer you bring to Him.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. You know the pain and concern in their legs. We ask for Your healing hand, for wisdom for any clinicians involved, and for peace and strength each day. May Your will be done and Your comfort be near. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your request concerning the painful varicose veins in your legs, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer before the throne of grace, pleading those precious promises you have named.

You have laid hold upon Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore thee to health, and heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord, and upon Jeremiah 17:14, Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed, save me and I shall be saved, for thou art my praise. These are blessed words to carry into the presence of our heavenly Physician. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it, and there is no pain or infirmity of the body which He does not understand.

We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The Scripture saith, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and from this we gather that the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue. When the Sun of Righteousness arises upon His people there is healing in His wings. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed upon the Lord's people, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one.

We do very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek a physician, and it is right to use the means which Providence has placed within our reach. Yet we look higher than human skill, to that great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. He is not like an army surgeon who hurries along and says a leg off here, an arm off there, but He comes gently and sympathizingly, and His healing virtue works health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, we come in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only Savior, and we bring before Thee this afflicted one who suffers in the legs. Thou seest the veins that are swollen and painful, Thou knowest the weariness and discomfort of each day. We plead Thy promise that Thou wilt restore health and heal wounds, and we cry with the prophet, Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Lay Thy hand upon this body. If it be Thy gracious will, give relief from pain, strengthen the vessels, and restore soundness. Give wisdom to those who give care, and let all means used be blessed by Thy hand. Above all, let Thy healing work in the soul, that whether Thou seest fit to grant full bodily ease now or to sustain through continued trial, the heart may know the deeper healing of pardon and peace through the blood of Christ. Let faith come by hearing Thy Word, and let Christ be honored as the healer of body and soul.

We leave this need in Thy wise and loving hands, trusting that Thy grace will infuse healing virtue according to Thy perfect will, and that Thou wilt be praised whether in giving or in sustaining. In the name of Jesus our Physician and Redeemer we ask it. Amen.

Be of good cheer and continue to look unto Him. He heareth prayer, and His leaves fail not, neither do they wither, and all who trust Him shall find Him faithful.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this need and for clinging to the promises of Jeremiah 30:17 and Jeremiah 17:14. We join you in agreement in prayer, trusting the Lord who formed every part of the body, including arteries, nerves and veins, and who knows how to restore what He has made.

We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask for Your healing touch upon these legs. You have said, I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord, and we ask You to bring relief from the pain, swelling and discomfort of these varicose veins. Heal, Lord, and there will be healing. Save and there will be salvation, for You are the one we praise. Grant wisdom for any physicians and treatment needed, grant patience and strength each day, and grant peace that comes from knowing You hear and You care. We thank You for Your mercy and power, and we trust Your good will in all things.

Continue to seek wise medical care as the Lord provides help through physicians and proper attention to the body, and continue to bring this need before Him with confidence. He is faithful and He loves you. We are standing with you in prayer and asking God to strengthen your faith as you wait on Him.

Thank you for sharing this need and for inviting prayer with you. I am joining my faith with yours for your legs and for the discomfort and difficulty these varicose veins have brought.

You mentioned two beautiful promises and they are good ones to hold before the Lord. Jeremiah 17:14 says, Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed, and Jeremiah 30:17 says, I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord. Both remind us that God sees our bodies, hears when we call to Him, and is the one who restores and heals.

Scripture shows that God cares about physical healing and not only spiritual healing. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, points to what happened when many sick people were brought to Jesus in the evening and He healed them, and he connects it to Isaiah 53 verse 4, Surely he hath borne our griefs, where the word for griefs can mean infirmities, and carried our sorrows or sicknesses. Matthew applies that prophecy to the physical healings Jesus did, to show that Jesus came to bear our sicknesses as well as to bear our sins. When Jesus took the bread and said, This is my body which is broken for you, do this in remembrance of me, He was giving us a poignant reminder that His body was given and His blood was shed for us. That is the ground for our confidence when we pray for healing.

I also want to pray with honesty and faith. The Bible teaches that God is able to heal and that healing is for today, and He is concerned with our physical needs. At the same time it teaches that we do not understand all of His ways in healing. Paul prayed three times concerning his thorn in the flesh and the Lord answered in a different way than removal. There remains mystery as to why some are healed quickly, some gradually, and some not in the way we ask, and that calls us to keep trusting His wisdom and love while we keep asking.

Healing itself can come in different ways. Sometimes the Lord touches instantly, sometimes He heals gradually, and any healing process is still from Him. He created our bodies and built into them processes for restoration, and that natural process is no less divine because it is natural. He is the one who made nature. He also heals on more than one level, physically, emotionally and spiritually, and there is a real connection between the health of our soul and the health of our body. Scripture says a merry heart doeth good like a medicine, and we are learning more how hope, peace and trust in the Lord can help the body as well.

So I am praying for you in that light, asking for the Lord's mercy and power, while resting in His good will for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus I lift up this dear one to You and thank You that You see and care about this struggle with varicose veins. You know the pain, the aching, the swelling and the weariness in the legs. I ask that You would heal, restore health and bring relief according to Your mercy. Heal, Lord, and let there be healing. Restore health and heal wounds as You have promised. If it be gradual through the healing processes You have placed in the body, or through wisdom for care and treatment, or by Your direct touch, I ask that You would work. Give wisdom to doctors and guidance in daily care, give comfort, strength and peace of heart, and let Your presence be near. Above all let faith be strengthened and let Your will be done with grace. I ask this trusting that Jesus bore our infirmities and our sins, and that His body was broken and His blood shed for us. Amen.

Continue to bring this before the Lord with confidence, remembering what Jesus has done for you, and keep caring for your body with wisdom as you trust Him day by day. He loves you and He hears your prayer.
