We join you in lifting up your friend before the Lord, trusting in His power to heal and restore. The vagus nerve plays a vital role in the body’s ability to rest, digest, and recover, and we know that our God is the Great Physician, who knits us together and sustains every part of our being. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14, *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* We declare healing over her body, particularly her nervous system, asking the Lord to restore what has been damaged by trauma, stress, or illness. May His healing touch bring balance, peace, and renewed strength to every fiber of her being.
We also stand in agreement for her protection and deliverance from those who seek to harm her. The Lord is a strong tower for the righteous, and we claim Psalm 91:9-11 over her life: *"Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Father, surround her with Your divine protection. Hide her under the shadow of Your wings, and let no weapon formed against her prosper. Bring her to a place of safety—a refuge where she is loved, nurtured, and cared for by those who reflect Your heart.
Yet, as we pray, we must also address something vital: the name by which we approach the Father. You closed your prayer *"in Jesus’ name,"* and we rejoice in this, for it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by His authority, His sacrifice, and His resurrection power that we boldly ask for healing and deliverance. We encourage you to always approach the Father through the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and our Hope.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You see the depths of her suffering—the trauma that has wounded her body, mind, and spirit. We ask You to restore her vagus nerve, to bring harmony to her nervous system, and to flood her body with Your supernatural healing. By Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we declare that truth over her life today.
Father, we also ask for Your divine protection. You are her Shield and her Exceeding Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). Deliver her from every scheme of the enemy and from those who seek to harm her. Lead her to a place of safety, where she is surrounded by Your love and the care of Your people. Let her encounter Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may she rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we pray that through this trial, she would draw nearer to You. If she does not yet know You as her Savior, we ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way. Let her encounter the love of Christ, which is deeper and stronger than any pain she has faced. If she has strayed or carries burdens of unforgiveness, fear, or doubt, we ask that You would break those chains and set her free. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, *"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."* We pray for that newness of life to flood her spirit.
Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness. May she rise from this season with a story of Your healing, Your protection, and Your unfailing love. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith for your friend. Speak life over her, remind her of God’s promises, and if possible, connect her with a Bible-believing church where she can receive prayer, support, and godly counsel. Trauma can leave deep wounds, but the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He is able to restore what has been broken. Keep pointing her to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is her Healer, her Protector, and her Redeemer.
