We join you in lifting this request before the Lord, knowing that He hears the desires of our hearts and works all things according to His perfect will. It is good that you have come before Him in prayer, and we commend you for seeking His intervention in this matter. The Scripture reminds us in Psalm 37:4-5, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Your trust in Him is a testament to your faith, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God will move mightily in this situation.
However, we must gently address something important in your prayer. While we understand your heart’s desire for your family to visit, we notice that you did not explicitly invoke the name of **Jesus Christ** in your closing. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved. As Scripture declares in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us always approach the throne of grace boldly, but only through Christ, our Mediator.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and motives in this request. Are you seeking this approval purely for the joy of reunion, or is there an underlying trust in God’s timing and will, even if the answer is not what you hope? Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let us surrender this desire to Him completely, trusting that His plans are far greater than our own.
Now, let us pray together over this matter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister and her heart’s desire for her family’s visa approval. Lord, You know the deep longing within her to be reunited with her loved ones, to share in the joy of fellowship and to introduce them to her son. We ask that You, in Your mercy and sovereign will, open the doors that no man can shut. Softening the hearts of those in authority, grant favor and approval for this visa, that Your name may be glorified through this reunion.
Yet, Father, we also pray for surrender. Help our sister to trust in You completely, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your ways are higher than ours. If there are delays or denials, let her rest in the assurance that You are working all things for her good and Your glory. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her Provider, her Comfort, and her Hope.
We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may try to creep into her heart. Instead, we declare peace that surpasses all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. May she walk in patience, joy, and unwavering trust as she waits upon You.
Most importantly, Father, we pray that this situation will draw her and her family closer to You. If there are any among them who do not yet know You, we ask that this time of waiting will open their hearts to the truth of the Gospel. May they come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, for there is no greater blessing than eternal life in Him.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of **Jesus Christ**, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
