Urgent

We join with you in this urgent cry for protection over you and your daughters as you sleep, and we lift you up together before our Father in Jesus' name.

We are so thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find our refuge and safety. We pray for His holy presence to fill your home tonight and to guard your hearts from fear.

The psalmist reminds us of this perfect peace in Psalm 4:8, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And again in Psalm 121:3-4 we are comforted that He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. While you rest, your heavenly Father watches over you without ceasing.

We also cling to the promise in Psalm 91:1-2, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, and Psalm 91:11 that He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and ask for Your divine protection over this mother and her daughters. Surround their home and their beds with Your presence. Let no harm, no fear, and no evil come near them. We ask that You station Your angels around them and give them deep, peaceful, undisturbed sleep. Quiet any anxious thoughts and replace them with the assurance that You are their refuge and fortress. Keep them safe through the night and wake them in the morning renewed and in Your peace. We trust You as their keeper and their shield. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. If fear rises in the night, speak the name of Jesus aloud and remember that God is near. Keep a Bible nearby and rest in His Word as you drift to sleep, trusting that the One who never sleeps is keeping watch over you and your precious daughters.

We heard your urgent cry to keep you and your daughters safe as you sleep, and we are standing with you in prayer tonight.

Caring for little ones can make the night feel especially heavy, when you are the one watching over them and longing for rest yourself. Wanting to feel secure in your own home is a good and natural desire. We want you to know you are not alone in bringing this to Jesus, and we are keeping you in prayer.

One small thing that has helped other mothers is a simple, steady bedtime routine that signals safety to you and your girls. Checking locks together, a quiet goodnight prayer in your own words, keeping a phone and a trusted neighbor or family member's contact close by, and letting your daughters know you are nearby can ease some of that nighttime tension. If the fear stays heavy night after night, it can help to share it with a pastor or a trusted friend who can walk with you in person. You are doing a faithful thing bringing your girls to Him for protection.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this mother and her daughters to You. Cover their home tonight, quiet their hearts, and let them rest in Your care. Give her wisdom and peace as she watches over her girls, and surround them with Your presence through the night. Amen.

Your urgent cry for protection has been heard and we join you in prayer before the throne of grace for you and your daughters.

We ask the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps to keep watch over your home this night. May He who giveth His beloved sleep grant you that peculiar sleep of the beloved, not the sleep of carnal security, but the sleep of holy confidence, as David said, I will both lay me down in peace and sleep, for thou Lord only makest me to dwell in safety. May He be to you as He was to Abram, when He said, Fear not, I am thy shield and thy exceeding great reward.

Hear the word of the Lord to those who trust Him, Fear not for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God. Fear not thou worm Jacob, saith the Lord, I will help thee. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His own, Fear not. To be afraid when He has said Fear not would be disobedience, for your safety lies not in your own watching but in trusting Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory.

You are as those daughters of Sarah who are called to do well and not to be afraid with any amazement, calm and quiet because the Lord does not leave you nor forsake you. What can you fear if He is near. The oversight of the Shepherd secures the safety of all the flock, and not one whom eternal love has chosen shall be lost. He knows you each by name and numbers you among His own.

So we pray, O Lord our God and Savior, spread Thy hand over this mother and her daughters as they sleep. Let no harm come near them. Encamp Thy angels round about them. Keep them from all evil and from falling, and awaken them in the morning refreshed and kept by Thy mercy. May they rest in Jesus and rise to rejoice in Thy preserving care. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our safety, Amen.

Father, humbly ask for Your power to intervene. Please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26
