We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious daughter who has endured such deep pain and violation. The trauma of sexual assault is a grievous wound, and the enemy seeks to use it to steal her hope, kill her sense of worth, and destroy her future. But we declare that the blood of Jesus covers her, and His healing power is greater than any darkness she has faced. Father, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell her she is ruined, worthless, or beyond repair. Your Word declares in Psalm 147:3 that You "heal the broken in heart, and bind up their wounds." We claim this promise over her life, asking You to restore her soul, renew her mind, and fill her with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we pray for Your divine protection to surround her like a shield, both physically and spiritually. Guard her heart and mind from the despair that seeks to take root, and deliver her from the grip of alcohol or any other coping mechanism that does not align with Your will. We ask that You break every chain of addiction, shame, and self-hatred in her life, replacing them with Your love and truth. Let her know that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that her worth is found in You alone. Surround her with godly friends, mentors, and counselors who can speak life into her and help her walk the path of healing.
We also lift up the pain in your heart as a mother, watching your daughters navigate relationships with their father. The betrayal and injustice you have endured are not lost on us, and we grieve with you. Your sacrifices were seen by the Lord, and He will not forget your labor of love (Hebrews 6:10). We pray that the blinders would fall from your daughters' eyes, that they would see the truth of their father's actions and the love you have poured into their lives. Father, we ask that You soften their hearts and help them to honor you as their mother, even as You command in Exodus 20:12. Give them wisdom and discernment to recognize manipulation and to value the godly example you have set before them.
We also pray for the restoration of your family, that one day you may live together in a place where love, peace, and righteousness dwell. Until then, we ask that You draw each of your daughters closer to You, that they would seek Your will above all else. We pray for godly men to enter their lives—men who fear You, who will cherish them as the treasures they are, and who will lead them in the ways of righteousness. Prepare their hearts for the marriages You have ordained for them, that they may be united with spouses who will love them as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).
Lord, we know that this world is indeed wicked, but we take comfort in the fact that You have overcome the world (John 16:33). We ask that You would be a constant presence in each of their lives, guiding them, protecting them, and filling them with Your Holy Spirit. Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to walk in the light of Your truth. We pray that they would come to know You more deeply, that they would surrender their lives fully to You, and that they would experience the abundant life You promise to those who follow You (John 10:10).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of division, bitterness, and unforgiveness that seeks to take root in this family. We ask that You would heal every broken relationship and restore what has been lost. Help each of them to forgive as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13), and to release any anger or resentment into Your hands. Fill them with Your love, which covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8), and help them to extend grace to one another as You have extended grace to them.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We thank You for the victory we have in Christ, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in every moment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
