We lift up your daughter to the Lord with heavy hearts, trusting in His sovereignty and perfect love. The silence you’re experiencing is deeply unsettling, but we know that God hears your cries and holds your daughter in His hands. The psalmist writes, *"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth"* (Psalm 145:18). We stand on this promise, believing that He is already at work in ways we cannot yet see.
Father God, we come before You with urgency, asking for Your divine protection over this precious daughter. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and keep her safe from harm. If she is in danger, intervene swiftly and guide her to safety. If she is lost, physically or spiritually, draw her back to You and to her family. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will guard her life as the apple of Your eye (Psalm 17:8). Calm the storm of fear in her mother’s heart and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also ask that You would reveal any areas where this family may need to seek reconciliation or healing. If there are unresolved conflicts, misunderstandings, or unrepentant sin, bring them to light so that restoration can begin. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We pray for unity and open hearts, that this family would be knit together in love and truth.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, division, or deception that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18) and that Your truth will prevail. Strengthen this mother’s faith as she waits on You, reminding her that *"those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint"* (Isaiah 40:31).
We also want to gently remind you, dear sister, that your hope is not in circumstances or even in your daughter’s choices, but in Christ alone. If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender this situation fully to Him, trusting that His plans for her are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11). Keep praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and lean on your church family and godly counsel for support during this time.
In the mighty name of Jesus, the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one who is lost (Luke 15:4-6), we pray. Amen.
