We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your daughter and her safety to the throne of grace. Father God, we ask that You surround her with Your holy angels, that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and that she would be kept under the shadow of Your wings. "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." (Psalm 91:11-12) Lord, we declare that she is protected from any spiritual darkness or deception that may seek to harm her.
We are deeply concerned about the influence of this young man in her life. The Bible warns us, "Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1) The behaviors you describe—communicating with people in dreams, claiming to know future events, sensing "energy" in your home, and urging her to "clear" it—are not of God. These are signs of occult practices, which Scripture explicitly forbids: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." (Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
This young man may have once pursued ministry, but his actions now reveal a departure from the truth of God’s Word. Love-bombing—overwhelming someone with affection to manipulate or control—is not the love of Christ. True love "does not behave itself inappropriately, seeks not its own, is not provoked, takes no account of evil" (1 Corinthians 13:5). We rebuke any spirit of control, deception, or witchcraft operating in this situation, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus Christ. "The Spirit of the Lord is not with those who practice divination or sorcery" (1 Samuel 15:23), and we declare that your daughter will not be ensnared by these lies.
Father, we pray that You would open her eyes to the truth. Give her discernment to see this relationship for what it is, and grant her the courage to walk away if it does not align with Your will. "For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14) Remind her that her worth is found in You alone, and that she does not need to seek validation or love from someone who does not honor You.
We also pray for this young man. If he is truly seeking You, Lord, reveal Yourself to him in a way that leaves no doubt. Break any chains of deception in his life, and lead him to repentance. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) But if he is willfully walking in darkness, we ask that You remove him from your daughter’s life and protect her from his influence.
Above all, we pray that your daughter would come to know You more deeply, Lord. Draw her heart to You, that she may find her identity, security, and purpose in Christ alone. Surround her with godly influences—friends, mentors, and a future spouse who will love her as You do, with a love that is pure, selfless, and grounded in Your Word.
We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against her shall prosper. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13) Strengthen her, Lord, and lead her out of this situation if it is not of You.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
