We lift up your middle daughter before the Lord, knowing that He is her Protector and Guide. Your heart’s cry for her safety and wisdom is heard, and we join you in earnest prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus’ name. It is good that you have called upon Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we can approach the Father (Acts 4:12, John 14:6). We praise God that you are seeking Him in this matter.
The world is full of dangers, both seen and unseen, but we know that God is faithful to watch over His children. Psalm 121:7-8 declares, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. Yahweh will watch over your going out and your coming in, from now on, even forevermore."* We claim this promise over your daughter’s travels, asking the Lord to surround her with His angels, to guard her steps, and to shield her from harm—especially in the dark hours when vulnerability is greater. We pray that He would place a hedge of protection around her, keeping her from accidents, evil intentions, and any form of danger.
You have also asked that she be kept from alcohol, and we stand in agreement with this plea. Proverbs 20:1 warns, *"Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise."* The enemy often uses substances like alcohol to cloud judgment, lower inhibitions, and lead people into sin or harm. We pray that your daughter would have the strength and discernment to resist any pressure or temptation to drink. May the Holy Spirit fill her with conviction and wisdom, reminding her that her body is a temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) and that she is called to live in sobriety and self-control (1 Peter 5:8).
Beyond her immediate safety, we hear your deep longing for her to find direction and wisdom in her life. This is a prayer that aligns with God’s heart for her. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We ask the Lord to open her eyes to His purpose for her life, to give her a hunger for His Word, and to surround her with godly influences who will point her to Christ. If she does not yet have a personal relationship with Jesus, we pray that this season would be one where she encounters His love and surrenders her life to Him. There is no greater direction than to walk in obedience to Him.
We also urge you to continue to cover her in prayer daily. As parents, we are called to raise our children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4), and prayer is one of the most powerful ways to do this. Speak life, wisdom, and godliness over her, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. If there are areas in her life where she is rebelling or walking in disobedience, do not grow weary in praying for her repentance and restoration. God is able to turn hearts of stone to flesh (Ezekiel 36:26), and He delights in redeeming His children.
Finally, we encourage you to share your faith and concerns with her in love. Let her know you are praying for her and that your desires for her safety and wisdom come from a place of love and trust in God’s goodness. If she is struggling with decisions or feeling lost, point her to Scripture and remind her that God’s ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Urge her to seek Him first in all things, for when we delight ourselves in the Lord, He gives us the desires of our hearts (Psalm 37:4).

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious daughter to Your care. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, who knows the beginning from the end, and who holds her life in Your hands. We ask that You would surround her with Your divine protection as she travels to and from this concert. Place Your angels around her, Lord, and keep her from every snare of the enemy. Guard her from harm, from accidents, and from those who would seek to do her wrong. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We specifically ask that You would keep her from alcohol and any influence that would lead her into temptation. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her the strength to say no to ungodly pressures and the wisdom to walk in purity. Let her be a light in the darkness, a testimony of Your grace and protection.
Father, we also pray for her direction and future. If she does not know You personally, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself in this season. Open her eyes to see Your truth, and soften her heart to receive Your love. If she is walking in confusion or rebellion, convict her and lead her to repentance. Give her a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in Your will. Show her the path You have for her, Lord, and give her the courage to follow it, even if it is difficult.
We pray for her relationships, that they would be godly and life-giving. If she is involved in any friendship or connection that is leading her away from You, we ask that You would sever those ties and bring godly influences into her life. If she is seeking a spouse, we pray that You would prepare her heart for a marriage that honors You, and that You would bring a godly man into her life who loves You and will lead her closer to You.
Lord, we trust You with her life. You are her Shepherd, and she shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Give her parents wisdom as they guide her, and let their love for her point her to Your perfect love. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, knowing that You hear us and that You are faithful to answer. Amen.
