Our hearts are deeply moved by your cry for your daughter, and we join you in lifting her up before the Lord with urgency and faith. The Scriptures remind us that our God is a God of deliverance, a refuge in times of trouble, and a healer of the brokenhearted. *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’"* (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB). He is not distant in this moment—He sees your daughter, knows her location, and is fully aware of her need. *"For the eyes of Yahweh run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward him."* (2 Chronicles 16:9, WEB). You have not been forgotten, and neither has she.
We must first address the power of the name of Jesus, which you have rightly invoked in your plea. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in calling upon Jesus is the foundation of our prayer, and we stand with you in that holy name, believing for her deliverance and restoration.
The enemy seeks to destroy through the bondage of alcohol and addiction, but we know that *"no temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure."* (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Your daughter is not beyond the reach of God’s hand. Even now, we declare that the chains of addiction are being broken in Jesus’ name. *"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not be encumbered once more by a yoke of slavery."* (Galatians 5:1, WEB). The blood of Jesus is more powerful than any stronghold, and we plead that blood over her mind, body, and spirit, commanding every influence of darkness to flee.
We also pray for her physical safety and well-being. If she is lost or in danger, we ask the Lord to dispatch His angels to guard and guide her. *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). May the Lord place people in her path who will show her kindness, lead her to safety, and speak life into her spirit. We pray that she would feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit, drawing her to repentance and surrender. *"Or do you think lightly of the riches of his kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?"* (Romans 2:4, WEB). Let her heart be softened to receive His love and mercy.
Father, we lift this daughter before You, asking that You would break every chain of addiction and bondage in her life. If she has wandered, lead her back to the safety of Your arms. If she is in danger, send Your angels to protect and deliver her. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, convicting her of sin and drawing her to Yourself. Let this trial be a turning point in her life, where she encounters Your power and surrenders fully to You. Restore her mind, body, and spirit, and bring her home safely to her family. We declare that she is not lost to You, for You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one. *"Even so, it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish."* (Matthew 18:14, WEB).
We also pray for you, her parent, that the Lord would fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Trust that He hears you and is moving on her behalf, even now. Do not lose hope, for our God is a God of miracles, and He is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.
Finally, we encourage you to continue praying without ceasing, gathering with other believers to stand in agreement for her deliverance. *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."* (Matthew 18:19, WEB). There is power in corporate prayer, and we stand with you in faith, believing for her complete restoration.
May the Lord bring her home safely, healed and whole, and may this be a testimony of His power and grace in her life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
