Beloved of All
My middle daughter survived a suicide attempt years ago and developed an alcohol problem. She has been sober for years and fell off the wagon. All of this stemmed from an SA. She is out and I have not heard from her. Please Jesus help her and send angels.

We lift up your middle daughter before the Lord with deep urgency and compassion, knowing that He alone is her refuge and strength in this time of crisis. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy her life through the pain of sexual abuse, the bondage of addiction, and the lie that death was the only escape—but we declare that Jesus came to give her life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). Praise God that she was spared from death years ago, for He has a purpose for her that the enemy cannot thwart.

First, we must address the spiritual reality at work here. Alcoholism is not merely a physical or emotional struggle—it is a spiritual stronghold. The Bible warns us not to be drunk with wine, which leads to debauchery, but to be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Your daughter’s relapse is not a surprise to God, nor is it beyond His power to break. The same God who delivered her before can restore her again, but she must turn fully to Him. If she has not already, she needs to repent—not just of the alcohol, but of any bitterness, unforgiveness, or unbelief that may have taken root because of the sexual abuse she suffered. The enemy uses such wounds to keep her in bondage, but Jesus is the Healer of broken hearts and the One who sets captives free (Luke 4:18).

We also recognize that her absence and silence are causing you deep anguish. Cast all your anxiety on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Do not let fear dictate your prayers—God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). While you wait, stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Now, let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this precious daughter who is lost and hurting. Lord, You see where she is right now—You know her every thought, her every pain, and the chains that have wrapped around her. We ask You to send Your angels to surround her, to protect her from harm, and to minister to her spirit. Break the power of addiction over her life, Lord. Loose the chains of alcoholism, depression, and the trauma of abuse in Jesus’ name. Let every stronghold be demolished by the power of Your Word and Your Spirit.

Father, draw her back to Yourself. Speak to her heart in a way she cannot ignore. Let her feel the weight of Your love and the emptiness of the path she is on without You. Convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and lead her to repentance. Restore her mind, Lord, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give her the strength to resist the enemy’s lies and to walk in victory.

We also pray for her mother, who is grieving and fearful. Comfort her with Your presence, Lord. Remind her that You are sovereign, that You are working even in this darkness, and that You have not abandoned her daughter. Give her wisdom to know how to reach out, how to speak truth in love, and how to trust You in the waiting.

Lord, we ask for divine connections—godly people who will cross her path and speak life into her. Bring her into a community of believers who will walk with her, pray for her, and hold her accountable. If she has turned away from You, Lord, pursue her relentlessly. Do not let her go.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide that has tried to claim her life. Death has no authority over her—Jesus has already conquered the grave! We declare that her story is not over, that You have plans for her, plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Raise her up as a testimony of Your redeeming power, Lord.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would restore this family. Heal the wounds caused by abuse, addiction, and fear. Let forgiveness flow, and let Your love bind them together in unity. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone can save, heal, and restore. Amen.

To you, dear sister in Christ, we urge you to keep praying without ceasing. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Stand on the promises of God’s Word, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek support from your church or a biblical counselor who can walk with you through this trial. You are not alone—the Body of Christ is here to uphold you.

If your daughter is not walking with the Lord, now is the time to pray for her salvation above all else. There is no greater need than for her to know Jesus as her Savior. Remind her of the Gospel: that Christ died for her sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). If she turns to Him in faith, He will forgive her, cleanse her, and give her a new heart. That is the only foundation for true and lasting freedom.

We will continue to lift her up in prayer. Do not lose hope—our God is a God of miracles.

We're here with you, sister, in this storm. We've been where you are, and we know the fear that grips your heart. But we also know the One who calms the storm, and we cling to Him.

We've been praying for your daughter, asking God to send His angels to encamp around her, to protect her from harm, and to minister to her spirit. We're asking God to break the chains of addiction and abuse that bind her, to loose her from the grip of depression, and to fill her with His peace and joy.

We're praying for you too, dear mother. We're asking God to comfort you with His presence, to remind you of His sovereignty, and to give you wisdom as you reach out to your daughter. We're asking God to bring godly people into her life, to speak life into her, and to walk with her as she heals.

We're claiming God's promises over her life. We're declaring that her story is not over, that God has plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future. We're asking God to raise her up as a testimony of His redeeming power.

And we're asking you to keep praying, sister. Don't grow weary, don't give up. Stand on God's promises, trust in His faithfulness, and seek support from your church or a biblical counselor. You're not alone. The Body of Christ is here to uphold you.

Most importantly, we're praying for your daughter's salvation. If she's not walking with the Lord, now is the time to pray for her to know Jesus as her Savior. Remind her of the Gospel, of the cross, and the empty tomb. That's the only foundation for true and lasting freedom.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith, sister. Our God is a God of miracles. We'll continue to lift her up in prayer, and we won't lose hope. We're in this together, and we trust in the One who heals, saves, and restores. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
