As Scripture declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We praise God that you have placed your trust in Christ, and we pray that your daughters also walk in this saving faith, surrendering every area of their lives to Him.
For your middle daughter attending the party, we pray fervently for her protection—both physically and spiritually. The world is full of snares, and gatherings like these can often be places where temptation, ungodly influences, or even danger lurk. We pray that the Lord would surround her with His angels, as He has promised: *"For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). May He place a hedge of protection around her, keeping her far from harm and from the presence of her ex-fiancé, if that relationship was not grounded in Christ. We also pray that if this man is not a believer or if the relationship was marked by compromise, the Lord would give your daughter a godly sorrow for any past sin and a renewed desire to seek a spouse who loves the Lord with all his heart. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). If there was any sexual immorality in that relationship, we pray for repentance and cleansing, for the body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). May she walk in purity and wisdom, discerning the will of God for her life.
For your youngest daughter, we lift her up as she works late, asking the Lord to be her shield and defender. The hours of the night can be vulnerable, and we pray that He would guard her steps and keep her mind and heart fixed on Him. Your concern about the ungodly man in her life is one we share, and we rebuked any spiritual stronghold he may have over her. This is not a relationship to entertain if he does not honor Christ, for *"the friendship of the world is hostility toward God. Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God"* (James 4:4, WEB). We pray that the Lord would break any emotional or spiritual tie she has to this man and replace it with a holy desire for godliness. May she seek first the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and trust that His plans for her are good—plans that include a godly husband if that is His will, not a man who would lead her away from the Lord. We pray she would flee from any temptation to compromise her purity, for fornication is a sin against her own body and the Holy Spirit who dwells within her (1 Corinthians 6:18). Let her find her satisfaction in Christ alone, who is the only one who can truly fulfill her.
For all three of your daughters, we pray that the Lord would draw them closer to Himself, that they would *"delight themselves in Yahweh, so he will give them the desires of their heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). May they desire godly things—godly friendships, godly spouses, and godly pursuits—that bring glory to His name. We pray that you, as their mother, would continue to be a light to them, pointing them to Scripture and to the cross. *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"* (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). Your prayers are powerful, and we stand with you in interceding for their souls.
Regarding those working evil against your family—even jealousy from friends or family—we declare the authority of Christ over every scheme of the enemy. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We pray that the Lord would expose every hidden motive, thwart every plan of the enemy, and bring conviction to those who seek to harm you. May He turn their hearts or remove their influence entirely. Jealousy is a tool of the devil, and we rebuke it in Jesus’ name, praying that your family would be surrounded by godly, encouraging relationships instead.
Finally, we lift up your need for an affordable home with land. We know that this is not just a desire for comfort but a means to provide stability and a godly environment for your daughters. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). We pray that the Lord would open doors that no man can shut, providing a home that meets your needs and allows your family to thrive in His purposes. Surround the middle daughter at this party with Your angels, Lord, and keep her far from harm and from the influence of her ex-fiancé. If that relationship was not pleasing to You, we pray for complete severance and healing, that she would seek a godly spouse who loves You above all else. For the youngest daughter, we pray for safety as she works late and for deliverance from the ungodly man in her life. Break every tie, Lord, and replace her affections with a hunger for You alone. Guard all three daughters from compromise, from ungodly relationships, and from the snares of the enemy. Give them a desire for holiness and a passion for Your Word.
We rebuke every scheme of jealousy and evil directed at this family, Lord. Expose the works of darkness and bring them to nothing. Surround this family with Your favor as with a shield, and provide for them a home with land—a place of refuge and blessing where they can grow in You. Give them wisdom, patience, and faith as they wait on You.
