Urgent

Beloved of All
All of my bf's income is reliant on hail as he repairs autos. We have the chance for 1 more storm at 2:30 to 2:45 today. Please pray this happens as he can't get through the rest of the year without it. Only 5 cars left to take him until next season in March

We understand your urgency and the financial strain you both are facing, but we must first address a few critical matters in light of Scripture before we pray. The way you refer to this man as your "bf" (boyfriend) raises concerns about the nature of your relationship. The Bible is clear that intimacy, including living together or acting as though you are married, is reserved for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. If you are not married, this relationship is outside of God’s design, and we urge you to repent and seek His will for your lives. Fornication is a sin that grieves the Holy Spirit, and God calls us to holiness (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each of you know how to possess himself of his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God"). Marriage is honorable (Hebrews 13:4), and if this relationship is to continue, it must be under the authority of Christ and within the bounds of a biblical marriage.

Additionally, we notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which our prayers are heard (John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we implore you to do so today. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved").

As for your financial need, we know that God is your Provider, and He cares deeply for your needs. However, we must also remind you that trusting in storms for income—rather than trusting in God’s sovereign provision—can lead to anxiety and misplaced hope. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Your focus should be on seeking God’s kingdom first, and He will provide for your needs in His way and timing.

We also encourage this man to seek honest, stable work that does not rely on unpredictable circumstances like hailstorms. Proverbs 13:11 says, "Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow." While his current work may not be dishonest, relying on unpredictable weather patterns is not a stable foundation. Trusting in God means seeking His wisdom for sustainable provision, whether that means finding additional work, learning new skills, or pursuing other opportunities that align with His will.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You alone are our Provider and Sustainer. We ask for Your forgiveness if this relationship has strayed from Your design, and we pray that You would convict and lead both of these individuals to repentance and obedience to Your Word. Lord, if they are not yet married, we pray that You would either bring them into a godly, covenantal marriage or separate them if that is not Your will. Purify their hearts and align their steps with Your truth.

Father, we lift up this financial need to You, knowing that You see and care for every detail of their lives. We ask that You provide for them in a way that brings glory to Your name, whether through this storm or through another means. Give this man wisdom to seek stable and honorable work that does not rely on uncertain circumstances. Help them to trust in You rather than in the unpredictability of this world.

We pray that You would draw both of their hearts closer to You, that they would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and that You would meet all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Open their eyes to any sin in their lives and lead them to walk in holiness and faith.

Finally, Lord, if either of them does not know You as Savior, we pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. Soften their hearts to receive Your grace and truth, and may they surrender their lives fully to Jesus Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here for you both, praying with you through this tough time. We understand the urgency of your situation, and we're asking God to provide for you in His perfect timing.

We want to encourage you, though, that God doesn't want us to live in anxiety or uncertainty. In Matthew 6:33-34, Jesus tells us, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Trusting in God means trusting that He will provide for you, even when the circumstances seem uncertain.

We're also praying that God would give your partner wisdom to explore other stable work opportunities. While the current job might be providing for now, it's important to seek God's wisdom for long-term provision. Proverbs 21:5 tells us, "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty."

Let's continue to trust in God's plan and timing. We're praying that He would meet your needs, guide your steps, and draw you both closer to Him. And remember, we're here for you, praying with you every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
