We stand with you in this urgent time of need, lifting up this family before the Lord, knowing that He is a God of justice, mercy, and protection. It is clear your heart is burdened for these children, for the unity of your family, and for God’s favor in the midst of this trial. We are reminded of **Proverbs 21:1**, which tells us, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."* If God can turn the hearts of kings, He can certainly move in the hearts of those in authority over this family court matter. We also cling to **Psalm 10:17-18**, which declares, *"Yahweh, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will make your ear hear, to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more."*
First, we rejoice with you that the whole family is saved—what a precious gift! Yet we must also recognize that salvation does not exempt us from spiritual battles. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**), and one of his tactics is to turn hearts against God and against one another. But we have authority in the name of Jesus to stand against this. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* So we put on the full armor of God, standing firm in faith, and we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**).
We also pray for a spirit of unity and love to bind this family together. **Colossians 3:14** tells us, *"Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."* Let love be the foundation of every interaction, every decision, and every prayer. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
