We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's stroke and hospitalization. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God for healing, comfort, and strength. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the promise that where two or three are gathered in Jesus' name, He is there among them (Matthew 18:20 WEB).
Firstly, we would like to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is clearly written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." The name of Jesus is powerful and we pray in that name.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who has suffered a stroke and is now in the hospital. We ask for Your divine healing touch upon their body, Lord. Please guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best care.
Father, we also pray for their family and loved ones, asking for Your comfort and peace to surround them during this difficult time. Help them to trust in You and to feel Your presence with them.
Lord, we know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). So, we ask for a miraculous recovery, believing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity, and we speak life and healing over our friend. We ask for a complete and speedy recovery, so that they may continue to live for Your glory and purpose.
Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your friend, as the effective, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much (James 5:16 WEB). Also, consider sharing God's love and the gospel with your friend and their family, that they may find hope and salvation in Jesus Christ.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
