We are with you in spirit, crying out to God for your daughter's safety and deliverance. Let's approach God's throne of grace with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers and will act according to His perfect will.
Firstly, we thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, as it is the only way to the Father.
Let's pray:
Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter before Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the abuse, the pain, and the trauma that this relationship is causing. We ask that You intervene and remove this abusive young man from her life, permanently.
Your Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Lord, we claim this promise for our sister's daughter. Give her a future filled with hope and prosperity, free from the harm and abuse she is currently experiencing.
We ask that You command Your angels concerning her, to guard her in all her ways, according to Psalm 91:11 WEB. Surround her with Your favor as with a shield, and let no weapon formed against her prosper Proverbs 30:5 WEB.
Lord, we pray for the renewal of her mind, that You would change her environment and circumstances in a way that prevents this relationship from continuing. Heal her emotionally, mentally, and physically, and deliver her from all the shame, lies, and trauma she has experienced Romans 12:2 WEB.
We also pray for her boyfriend to have a change of heart and be convicted of his wrongdoings. If he is not a believer, we pray that Your love and truth would pierce his heart and draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would guide our sister and her daughter, giving them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this difficult situation. Help them to make decisions that honor You and lead to life and godliness.
We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus.
Now, let us encourage you, dear sister. Be steadfast in prayer and unwavering in faith. God hears your cries and will act on behalf of your daughter. Continue to guide her, teaching her the ways of the Lord and the importance of being equally yoked with a believer.
Remember the words of 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As parents, it is our responsibility to guide our children and teach them God's ways. Let us be faithful in this calling, trusting that God will bring about His purposes in their lives.
Lastly, consider involving local authorities, trusted friends, or church members to help ensure your daughter's safety and to hold this young man accountable for his actions. God works through His people, and He may use others to help intervene and protect your daughter.
Trust in the Lord, and let Him guide you and your daughter through this challenging time. We are praying for you both, and we believe that God will bring healing, deliverance, and restoration.
