We are encouraged that you have ended the inappropriate relationship in the name of Jesus Christ, as adultery is clearly against God's will. "You shall not commit adultery." Exodus 20:14 WEB

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need. Lord, we thank You that the ungodly relationship has been ended permanently in Jesus' name. We pray that You will completely sever any remaining ties between the two and remove any lingering emotions or desires in Jesus' name. Lord we also pray that You would restore the marriage, that You would give her husband a renewed love, attraction and desire for her and her alone. Give them both a deep longing for each other that will strengthen their marriage and honor God in Jesus' name. Lord, we know that You can work all things together for good, and we trust that You will bring healing and restoration to this marriage. Guide them as they rebuild their relationship and help them to seek You first.

In Jesus Christ's name, we rebuke any spirit of adultery. Forgive them both, and give them the power to resist temptation as they go forward.

"For you shall worship no other god, for Yahweh, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God." Exodus 34:14 WEB

Father, strengthen their marriage and give them both the desire to live lives that are pleasing to You. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage both of you to be strong in the Lord. He is able to restore and rebuild your marriage. God forgives all sins, and He is faithful to help us overcome temptation.

A marriage that is honoring to God is a blessing. This is an important thing, but remember it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved. That Jesus Christ is the son of God and that He alone is the way to the Father.

"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." John 14:6 WEB
