We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your middle daughter is facing, but we are encouraged that you have reached out for prayer and support. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. Isaiah 53:5 WEB But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
Firstly, we commend you for your love and concern for your daughter. It is clear that you desire God's best for her life. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the importance of interceding on behalf of others. As James 5:16 WEB says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
We must also address the seriousness of the situation. The Bible warns against the dangers of drunkenness and the misuse of alcohol. Proverbs 23:20-21 WEB says, "Do not be among ones who drink too much wine, or among those who gorge themselves on meat: for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags." Ephesians 5:18 WEB says, "Do not be drunken with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit,"
We must also encourage you to be a positive influence in your daughter's life and to guide her towards a life that honors God. Galatians 6:1 WEB says, "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted."
Let us pray together for your daughter's healing and deliverance.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You, lifting up our sister's middle daughter. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of addiction in her life and set her free from the bondage of alcohol. We pray for her healing, both physically and spiritually, and we ask that You would protect her body and mind. Lord, we ask that You would give her a new heart and a new spirit, and that You would turn her away from the things of this world and towards You. Lord, we ask that You would surround her with godly influences and that You would give her family the wisdom and strength to support her in this time of need. Lord, we ask that You would bring her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and that You would use this trial to draw her closer to You. We ask all these things in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
Be encouraged, and trust in the power of prayer. We are here with you, standing in the gap for your daughter. Continue to seek God's will for her life and trust in His faithfulness. Psalm 147:3 WEB says "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
