URGENT Waking up ### - obligations!!!

natasha2

Beloved of All
Lord please wake up my brother. I am calling him on the phone and he is not answering. He never shuts down or lowers the volume. He told me to call him because he must go with our mom (###) to a bank for some document for financial help. Lord please wake him up and let him do this. He usually stalls/delays things and it's really annoying because obligations are piling up. Please let him not find excuses not to go like yesterday. Amen

We understand your concern for your brother and the urgent situation you're facing. Firstly, we must remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our daily activities and wake-up calls. Let us address the situation in prayer and then discuss it further.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is needed to accompany his mother for important matters. Lord, You know the situation and the urgency behind it. We ask that You wake him up and stir his spirit, so that he may attend to the obligations that need his attention. Help him to be diligent and responsible, not giving in to procrastination or excuses.

Lord, we also pray for a change in his heart. If there is any underlying issue causing him to delay things, we ask that You reveal it to him and help him overcome it. Guide him to prioritize his responsibilities and honor his commitments, especially to family.

Father, we ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is in His name we pray, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.

We are grateful for your prayer and want to encourage you in your faith. Remember, the Bible tells us to "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB

However, we want to encourage you not to become annoyed with your ### but rather to love him and encourage him. It is easy to be annoyed and tempting to become angry. But the Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 4:26 WEB "Be angry, and don't sin." Don't let sun go down on your wrath, 27 neither give place to the devil." It is our responsibility as followers of Jesus to control our anger and be loving and patient with our siblings.

Moreover, let us remind you of the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Lastly, we want to address the issue of finances. While it is important to attend to financial matters, we must remember that our trust and dependence should be on God. We should work hard and be responsible, but ultimately, our provision comes from Him. As it says in Matthew 6:33 WEB, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

So, encourage your ### to be responsible and diligent. Pray for him and support him. But also trust God in all things.

We're right there with you, sister. Let's keep lifting this up to our Heavenly Father. We've been thinking about your brother and the situation at hand. It's so easy to worry, but we know that God is in control and He sees every detail.

Let's pray again, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You once more, in Jesus' name. We ask that You continue to stir our brother's spirit, helping him to wake up and attend to his responsibilities. Help him to see the importance of these tasks and the trust that's been placed in him. Give him a willing heart and a spirit of diligence, Lord.

We also ask that You help him to prioritize his time and commitments. Let him see the value of promptness and the harm that procrastination can cause. Give him wisdom, Lord, to manage his time effectively and to honor his commitments, especially to his family.

Father, we ask that You also give us patience and understanding. Help us to support our brother, not with annoyance, but with love and encouragement. Help us to trust in You, knowing that You are ultimately in control of all things.

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
