🙏 Urgent time to pray for our country's leaders, world leadership and the advancement of free speech -- specifically The Great Commission

Faithful Servant
🙏 This is a very urgent time to pray for our country's leaders, world leadership and the advancement of free speech -- specifically The Lord's Commission to preach the gospel, make disciples, and teach everything that the Lord has commanded to all nations, Matt 28:19-20. We ask for the fostering of godly alliances, humility, healing and promotion and strengthening of international relationships to be furthered. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy and teaching and for the furtherance of the Gospel of Jesus, The Lord's Anointed, and His Kingdom throughout the world. Guide and protect our leaders, missionaries, proclaimers, evangelists, pastors and teachers, for the edification of the body, until we attain the unity of the faith and knowledge of the Son of God, Eph 4:11-13, and keep the evil one from all disciples throughout the world, John 17:15, and from influencing all leaders and people everywhere, 2 Thes 3:1-2, 3, in Jesus' Name...

We join with you in this urgent call to prayer, recognizing that this is indeed a critical hour for our nations, leaders, and the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus, that we can approach the throne of God with boldness, and it is by His authority alone that we can petition Heaven for mercy, wisdom, and revival. We are grateful that you have lifted this request in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which our prayers are heard (Acts 4:12).

The Great Commission is not merely a suggestion but a divine mandate given by our risen Lord to all who follow Him. Jesus declared in Matthew 28:18-20, *"All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."* This is our mission, and we must contend for its fulfillment in every corner of the earth. Yet, we see the forces of darkness rising against it—governments suppressing free speech, false teachings infiltrating the church, and ungodly alliances seeking to silence the truth. But we know that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church of Christ (Matthew 16:18).

We must also address the spiritual condition of our leaders, for without godly wisdom, they will lead nations astray. Proverbs 11:14 warns, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."* Too often, we see leaders relying on their own understanding rather than seeking the Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6). We see nations turning away from biblical foundations, embracing moral relativism, and even persecuting those who stand for righteousness. This is not the will of God. Romans 13:1-4 reminds us that governing authorities are instituted by God, and they are to be His ministers for good. Yet when they reject His ways, they invite judgment. Our prayer must be for repentance—for leaders to humble themselves, seek God’s face, and turn from wickedness (2 Chronicles 7:14).

The spread of false prophecy and teaching is another grave concern. Jesus warned in Matthew 24:11, *"Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray."* The apostle Paul echoed this in 2 Timothy 4:3-4, *"For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables."* We must pray for discernment among believers and for the exposure of every deceitful scheme of the enemy. The Church must stand firm on the Word of God, uncompromised by the trends of this world.

We also lift up missionaries, evangelists, pastors, and teachers who labor tirelessly for the Gospel, often in hostile environments. Many face persecution, imprisonment, and even death for their faith. Yet, Jesus promised in John 16:33, *"In the world, you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."* We pray for their protection, provision, and perseverance, that they may continue to preach the Word in season and out of season (2 Timothy 4:2). We ask the Lord to strengthen them, to fill them with His Spirit, and to open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that You alone are sovereign over the nations. You raise up kings and bring down empires, and Your purposes will stand (Daniel 4:17). We ask for Your mercy upon our countries and the world. Lord, we pray for our leaders—presidents, prime ministers, judges, legislators, and all in authority—that You would grant them wisdom, humility, and a fear of You. Remove from them every counselor who leads them astray, and surround them with godly advisors who speak Your truth. Convict their hearts of sin, Lord, and draw them to repentance. Let them govern with justice, mercy, and righteousness, for Your glory.

We pray for the advancement of free speech, particularly the freedom to preach the Gospel without hindrance. Break the chains of censorship and oppression that seek to silence Your truth. Expose the schemes of the enemy that seek to twist Your Word and lead many astray. Raise up bold proclaimers of Your Gospel, Lord, who will not shrink back in fear but will speak with Holy Spirit-filled courage. Let the light of Christ shine brightly in every dark place.

Father, we ask for the fostering of godly alliances between nations—alliances rooted in Your truth, not in political expediency or unrighteousness. Bring healing to broken relationships between countries, and let peace prevail where there is strife. But let there be no unity with those who reject Your ways. Separate the righteous from the wicked, Lord, and let Your people stand firm in holiness.

We lift up Your servants—missionaries, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—who labor for the sake of the Gospel. Protect them from the evil one, provide for their needs, and fill them with Your Spirit. Let their words be anointed with fire, piercing hearts and bringing many to salvation. Strengthen the Body of Christ, Lord, that we may attain the unity of the faith and the knowledge of Your Son. Let no division, no false teaching, no worldly distraction hinder Your work.

Finally, Lord, we pray for the furtherance of Your Kingdom. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Bring revival to Your Church, that we may be a light in this dark world. Let the Great Commission be fulfilled in our generation, that all nations may hear the Gospel and turn to You. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Beloved, let us not grow weary in prayer. The battle is spiritual, and our weapons are not of the flesh but mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). Stand firm in the faith, speak the truth in love, and trust that the Lord is working all things for His glory. The harvest is ripe, and the laborers must be sent. Will you be one of them?

We're right there with you, standing in the gap for our leaders, both nationally and globally. It's crucial we pray for their hearts to be turned towards God, seeking His wisdom and guidance in these critical times. Let's intercede for them, asking God to:

- Grant them humility, that they may acknowledge their need for Him.
- Fill them with His Spirit, enabling them to govern with righteousness and justice.
- Surround them with godly counselors who will speak truth into their lives.
- Convict them of sin, drawing them to repentance and a right relationship with Him.

Let's also pray for the advancement of free speech, particularly the freedom to preach the Gospel without hindrance. We ask God to:

- Break the chains of censorship and oppression that seek to silence His truth.
- Expose the schemes of the enemy that twist His Word and lead people astray.
- Raise up bold proclaimers of the Gospel, filled with Holy Spirit courage.

We pray for the fostering of godly alliances between nations, rooted in His truth. We ask God to:

- Bring healing to broken relationships and peace where there is strife.
- Separate the righteous from the wicked, letting His people stand firm in holiness.

We lift up missionaries, evangelists, pastors, and teachers who labor tirelessly for the Gospel. We pray for their:

- Protection, provision, and perseverance.
- Anointing, that their words may pierce hearts and bring many to salvation.

Lastly, we pray for the furtherance of God's Kingdom, that His will may be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask God to:

- Bring revival to His Church, that we may be a light in this dark world.
- Fulfill the Great Commission in our generation, that all nations may hear the Gospel and turn to Him.

We're in this together, beloved. Let's not grow weary in prayer, for our labor in the Lord is not in vain.
