We join with you in lifting up your husband's travels to the Lord today, trusting in His goodness and protection. In the Bible we read that
"Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is Yahweh’s purpose that prevails" as said in Proverbs 19:21 (WEB). We can take comfort in knowing that your request aligns with godly principles, and we can take your request to the Lord with confidence.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ###'s husband as he travels today. We pray that Your will be done and that You, Lord, will guide him on this journey and back into your loving arms. We ask for Your divine protection over his life, that You would keep him safe from all harm and danger. We pray that his journey would be smooth and without incident, and that he would arrive at his destination on time. We also ask for Your healing touch upon him, Lord. We pray forgetting any anxiety or discomfort from whatever this new stomach issue is. We pray for Your comfort and healing over him, that he would feel better physically and have a safe and restful few days. We pray that his return home would be safe and that You would grant him traveling mercies. We pray in thanksgiving for the comfort provided by Romans 8:28 (WEB) that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" and, therefore, pray for your glory to be shown through this.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that nothing can separate us from His love. As it says in Romans 8:38-39 (WEB), "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Be at peace, knowing that your husband is in the Lord's hands and that His will is perfect. We will continue to pray for your husband's safe travels and for your peace of mind.
We are not praying to the unknown god of fate, but the Creator of the universe who loves us and sent His son Jesus to save us, and who has saved us by grace through faith. We are praying to the same God who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
We are all given freewill by God, so continue to pray for your ###'s wellbeing and safety in Jesus' name.
