We understand that you're going through a challenging time and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the need to be a better person and for desiring to improve your marriage. It's important to remember that God's mercy and grace are sufficient for us, especially in times of need. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
In regards to your husband's medical condition, we pray for God's healing and comfort. As it is written in James 5:14-15 WEB: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
However, we must address the anger issue, which is a normal emotion and should be discussed. It’s important for you both to understand the underlying causes and to seek God's guidance. If not addressed, it can lead to sin. Address any issues surrounding this anger. In Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB we read: "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."
Regarding your prayer for God's wealth to change you, we believe you meant God's will. True change comes from submitting to God's will and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in you. As it is written in Romans 12:2 WEB: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in need. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon her husband, that Your will be done in his life and that You grant him peace and comfort during this trial. Help them both to address any anger issues and underlying problems according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for our sister, that You mold her into the woman You've called her to be. Help her to be a godly wife, full of love, patience, and understanding. Strengthen their marriage, Lord, and let it be a testament to Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you both to seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian counselor, to help navigate these challenges.
