Humble Servant of All
Praise the Lord! In Jesus’s name please pray it is God’s will to heal my husband. For us to attend church together. Many years dealing with multiple serious medical conditions, anger, depression. Emotional roller coaster, extreme pain. States daily wants to be dead. Depression & anger out of control. He’s like a pot about to boil over. I don’t know how to help him or keep him calm. Pray for him to take meds as directed - all over the place, skips doses. States he’s going to stop taking everything. Has done this before suffering for days on end then takes days or weeks to feel somewhat better. The turmoil is unbearable. He needs to stop watching news. Heartbreaking. Pray for him to let go & let God. Help me be supportive & a better person in all ways. Give me patience. Holy Spirit please intervene for us now. Thank you & God Bless

We join you in lifting up your husband and this heavy burden before the Lord, crying out for His mercy, healing, and deliverance. Your heart for your husband is evident, and we commend you for standing in the gap for him in prayer. The Lord hears your pleas, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that nothing is too difficult for Him.

The anger and depression your husband is battling are not from the Lord, for He is the God of peace and hope. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. The Scripture reminds us in John 10:10, *"The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly."* This is not God’s will for your husband’s life. The Lord desires to restore him, to fill him with joy, and to replace his anger with the peace that surpasses all understanding.

It is critical that your husband submits to the medical care and wisdom God has provided through his doctors. Skipping medications or refusing treatment is not trusting God—it is often a form of self-reliance or even rebellion, which can open the door to further spiritual and emotional turmoil. Proverbs 16:20 tells us, *"He who heeds the Word finds prosperity. Whoever trusts in the Lord is happy."* Trusting the Lord includes stewarding the body and mind He has given us, which means following medical advice unless it directly contradicts God’s Word. We pray that the Lord softens his heart to be consistent with his treatment, not as a replacement for faith, but as a tool God can use for his healing.

The anger and depression he is experiencing are also deeply tied to what he is filling his mind with. You mentioned that he watches the news, and we know that the world is full of distressing reports that can fuel anxiety, fear, and anger. Philippians 4:8 instructs us, *"Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."* If the news is feeding his anger and despair, it is time to turn it off and replace it with the Word of God, worship, and uplifting fellowship. The mind is a battlefield, and what we allow into it shapes our emotions and actions.

We also urge you both to seek godly counsel, whether through your pastor, a biblical counselor, or a mature believer who can walk alongside you in this season. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 reminds us, *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."* You were not meant to carry this alone, and your husband needs the support of the body of Christ to help him stand.

As for you, dear sister, we pray for supernatural strength, patience, and wisdom. The Lord sees your faithfulness, and He will sustain you. Do not neglect your own spiritual and emotional well-being. You cannot pour from an empty cup, so make sure you are spending time in the Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can encourage and uplift you. Galatians 6:9 encourages us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."*

Finally, we must address the enemy’s lies that have taken root in your husband’s heart—the lies that tell him he would be better off dead. This is a direct attack from the father of lies, who seeks to destroy him. But the truth of God’s Word says otherwise: *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11) Your husband’s life has purpose, and God is not finished with him yet. We bind these lies in the name of Jesus and declare that the spirit of suicide, depression, and anger has no place in him. We plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, heart, and body, and we command every stronghold to be broken by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious husband and wife to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Healer of broken bodies and broken hearts. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and touch this man with Your healing power. Restore his body from every sickness and disease, and bring alignment to every system that is out of order. You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who raises the dead, and who heals the brokenhearted—nothing is too hard for You.

Lord, we rebuked the spirits of anger, depression, and despair that have tormented him for so long. These spirits are not from You, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus. Fill him instead with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. Renew his mind with Your Word and help him to fix his eyes on You rather than the troubles of this world. Give him the strength to take his medications as prescribed, not as a lack of faith, but as a steward of the body You have given him.

Father, we pray that You would break the hold that the news and worldly influences have on his mind. Help him to turn away from what fuels his anger and to turn toward You, the Prince of Peace. Let him hunger for Your Word and for fellowship with Your people. Surround him with godly men who can speak truth into his life and encourage him in his walk with You.

Lord, we also lift up this faithful wife who has stood by her husband through this storm. Strengthen her, Lord, and fill her with Your patience, wisdom, and love. Help her to know how to support her husband without enabling his struggles. Give her discernment to know when to speak and when to listen, when to encourage and when to set boundaries. Protect her heart from bitterness and weariness, and remind her that You see her sacrifices and will reward her faithfulness.

We pray for their marriage, Lord. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal. Help them to attend church together, to worship You as one, and to find community among Your people. Let their home be a place of refuge, filled with Your presence and Your peace.

Holy Spirit, we ask for Your intervention in this situation. Move in ways that only You can. Bring breakthrough where there has been bondage, hope where there has been despair, and healing where there has been brokenness. We declare that this husband will live and not die, that he will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your timing, and we wait expectantly for You to act. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You receive all the glory. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We're right here with you, dear friend. We've been where you are, feeling helpless and unsure how to help our loved ones. But we know who we can trust - our Heavenly Father.

Let's claim these promises together:

"Cast your cares upon the Lord, for He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Let's ask God to:

- Heal your husband's body and mind, to restore him to wholeness and strength.
- Fill him with His peace, joy, and hope, to replace the anger and depression.
- Give him the desire and strength to take his medications as directed.
- Protect him from the influences that fuel his anger and depression.
- Surround him with godly men who can encourage and support him.
- Give you, dear sister, patience, wisdom, and love to support him without enabling his struggles.
- Restore your marriage, to make it a place of refuge, filled with God's presence and peace.

Let's declare together:

"By His stripes, we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

"Perfect love casts out fear." (1 John 4:18)

"God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

We're believing God for a miracle, for healing, and for restoration. We're here for you, praying with you, and for you. Let's trust in God's goodness and timing, knowing that He is working all things together for good.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
