We lift up this urgent situation before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician and the only One who can bring true healing—both physically and spiritually. The news of a 100% blockage in the heart is indeed serious, and we understand the deep fear and sorrow your children must be feeling. Yet we also know that our God is mighty to save, and nothing is impossible for Him. Even now, we declare that His will be done in this man’s life, for His glory.
First, we must address the most critical need: this man’s eternal soul. You shared that he is not saved, and we grieve over this because Scripture tells us that without Christ, there is no hope for salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that anyone can be saved, and we earnestly pray that God would open this man’s heart to receive the truth before it is too late. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 6:2, *"Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation."* There is no guarantee of tomorrow, and we plead with the Lord to draw this man to Himself in this very hour.
We also pray for his physical healing, asking God to miraculously clear this blockage and restore his heart to full health. The Psalmist declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over his life, trusting that God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think. Yet even as we pray for healing, we surrender to God’s perfect will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours.
To you and your children, we offer the comfort of Scripture. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14, *"Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these."* Your children’s tears are precious to the Lord, and He sees their faith. Encourage them to pour out their hearts to God, who is a loving Father to the fatherless and a comforter to those who mourn. Remind them of Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."*
We also urge you to share the Gospel with this man if you have the opportunity. Tell him that God loves him and sent His Son, Jesus, to die for his sins so that he might have eternal life. Romans 10:9-10 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* Let him know that salvation is a free gift, received by faith alone, and that now is the time to turn to Christ.
Finally, we pray for strength and peace for you and your children during this trial. May the Lord fill you with His supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lean on Him, for He is your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
**Our prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this man who is facing a life-threatening condition. Lord, we ask that You would intervene miraculously in his body. By Your power, clear the blockage in his heart and restore him to full health. You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your mercy.
But even more than physical healing, Father, we pray for his soul. Softens his heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Send Your Holy Spirit to convict him of his need for a Savior, and draw him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Let him not delay, for none of us are promised tomorrow. May he call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.
Comfort this family, Lord, especially these precious children who are weeping in fear. Surround them with Your peace and assurance that You are in control. Give them faith to trust You, even in the unknown. Strengthen their mother with Your wisdom and grace as she navigates this trial.
We rebuked any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair in the name of Jesus. We declare that You, Lord, are sovereign over life and death, and we place this entire situation into Your hands. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through it all.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
