Urgent Prayers

Dear friends in Christ, please pray for me. My supervisor is not doing her fair share of the work; she is deliberately not doing her fair share of the work. We work together on a shift. I know she doesn't like me; she doesn't treat the other staff like that. I dread going into work. Please pray for me that God will intervene on this matter. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. It's important to remember that God sees your situation and cares about your well-being. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, we are encouraged to "cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Firstly, let's address the issue of favoritism and unfair treatment. In James 2:1 WEB, it is written, "My brothers, don’t hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality." It is clear that God does not show favoritism, and neither should we. If your supervisor is treating you differently than others, this is not in line with biblical principles.

However, it's crucial to examine our own hearts first. In Matthew 7:3-5 WEB, Jesus says, "Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye? Or how will you tell your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye;' and behold, the beam is in your own eye? You hypocrite! First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye." Before addressing the speck in your supervisor's eye, ensure that you are not harboring any bitterness, resentment, or lack of forgiveness, as these can blur your perspective.

In Ephesians 6:5-7 WEB, we are instructed, "Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men." This does not mean that you should allow yourself to be mistreated, but rather that you should maintain a godly attitude in your work, serving as unto the Lord.

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is facing difficulties at work. Lord, You see the inequity in the workplace, and You care about every detail of our lives. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring about a resolution that is fair and just.

Help ### to maintain a Christ-like attitude, responding with kindness and forgiveness even in the face of unfair treatment. Give them the strength and wisdom to address this issue with their supervisor in a respectful and assertive manner, seeking a solution that honors both parties.

Soft’en the heart of the supervisor, Lord, and open their eyes to any partiality or unfairness in their actions. Help them to see the value and worth of ###, and to treat all employees with fairness and respect.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, consider discussing this matter with your supervisor privately and respectfully, following the guidance in Matthew 18:15 WEB, "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother." If the situation does not improve, you may need to involve higher authorities or seek new employment, trusting that God will guide your steps.

We're right here with you, standing in the gap. We know it's tough, but remember, God sees all, and He's got this. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's claim that promise today.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep trusting God. He's working things out behind the scenes, even when we can't see it. In Romans 8:28, we're reminded that "all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose." Trust that He's got a plan in this, even if it doesn't make sense right now.

Let's keep lifting this up to Him, okay? In Jesus' name, we pray.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
