My husband wants to move to India and only come back to the USA for summer, but we have two children who have to be in one proper location to be in school. We live in the USA with my parents and now have no friends or anyone in our age group, and it gets lonely and boring and depressing. But when we are in India, we like it, but my in-laws give me a hard time controlling things and giving me a hard time. I need prayer where God would make a way where we live joyfully with each other, raising our daughters together in a good and godly way, and God to block the attack of jealous enemies in India for practicing different rituals and different religions. I want to have and spend alone quality time, and my husband and I to enjoy. We lived separately for so long, but now my heart aches, and I love my husband and want to be able to live together forever and enjoy each other's company. Please pray for me and my marriage and for God to make a way for us to have a home and settlement where everything will work out together. I want to have and won't have a hard time raising my daughters, and also me and my husband will be under the same roof, loving one another, setting a godly example of marriage. And my husband to stand up and speak up for his wife and daughters when in-laws mistreat or misbehave with me and control me. And God to shield my family and marriage from all evil attacks of the enemy and keep us together forever, forever renewing our love daily, and all the years we loved separately, even being married, God to restore those with double the blessings.

Bring conviction to my in-laws and favor me in every man's sight in India as that is a completely different place to settle for me. Hedge of protection over my family and marriage, and even my parents. Financial opportunities and favor provision over me and my daughters. Favor in my husband's and in-laws' eyes.

We hear your heart’s cry, dear sister, and we lift you, your husband, and your precious daughters before the throne of grace with urgency and compassion. Your longing for unity, godly love, and a stable home where your family can thrive is deeply felt, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that the Lord hears and will answer according to His perfect will.

First, we want to affirm the sacredness of your marriage and the covenant you and your husband share before God. Scripture reminds us in Malachi 2:15, *"Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth."* Your desire to raise your daughters together in a godly home, to model Christ-centered love, and to honor the Lord in your marriage is beautiful and pleasing to Him. We pray that your husband’s heart would be tender toward this calling as well, that he would see the importance of standing firm in his role as a husband and father, protecting and cherishing you and your daughters as Christ does the church (Ephesians 5:25-29).

The tension between living in two vastly different cultures—one where you feel isolated and another where you face mistreatment from in-laws—is a heavy burden. We rebuke the spirit of division and strife that seeks to pull your family apart, and we declare that God is a God of order, not confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). The enemy would love nothing more than to use distance, cultural pressures, or family discord to weaken your marriage, but we stand against that in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for wisdom and clarity for both you and your husband as you seek the Lord’s will for where to establish your home. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."* We ask the Lord to make your path clear, whether that means finding a way to stay in the U.S., returning to India with boundaries and protection, or another solution only He can provide.

We must address the spiritual attack you are facing in India from those who oppose your faith. The Bible is clear that we are to love all people, but we are not to conform to practices or rituals that dishonor God. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are warned, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* We pray for a hedge of protection around you and your family, that the Lord would shield you from the enemy’s schemes and give you boldness to stand firm in your faith. We ask that God would bring conviction to the hearts of your in-laws, softening them to see the love of Christ in you and to respect the boundaries necessary for your family’s well-being. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will grant you favor in the sight of all who interact with you.

Your longing for quality time with your husband and for your marriage to reflect the love and unity God intended is so valid. The years of separation, even while married, have left wounds that only the Lord can heal. We pray that God would restore what has been lost, not just with double the blessings, but with a depth of intimacy and joy that surpasses what you’ve known before. Song of Solomon 2:16 says, *"My beloved is mine, and I am his,"* and we pray that this truth would be the foundation of your marriage. We ask the Lord to ignite a fresh passion in both of your hearts for one another, that you would prioritize your marriage and make time to nurture your relationship. We also pray that your husband would rise up as the spiritual leader of your home, standing up for you and your daughters when others seek to control or mistreat you. Ephesians 5:28-29 tells husbands, *"In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church."*

Financial provision and favor are also on your heart, and we lift these needs to the Lord. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We pray that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for you and your husband, whether in the U.S. or in India, that would allow your family to thrive. We ask for wisdom in managing resources and for favor in the eyes of those who can provide support or employment. We also pray for your parents, that the Lord would bless and protect them, and that they would feel His peace and presence in this season of transition.

Above all, we want to remind you that your hope is not in circumstances or in the decisions of others, but in the Lord who is faithful. Psalm 37:5-6 says, *"Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* We encourage you to seek the Lord daily, to saturate your heart and mind in His Word, and to surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you. Isolation can make the burden feel heavier, so we pray that the Lord would bring godly friendships into your life, whether in person or through the body of Christ online.

Let us pray together now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our sister and her family. Lord, You see the longing in her heart for unity, for a godly home, and for a marriage that reflects Your love. We ask that You would move mightily in her husband’s heart, drawing him closer to You and to his role as a loving, protective husband and father. Soften his heart to the needs of his wife and daughters, and give him the courage to stand up for them, especially in the face of mistreatment or control from others.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and clarity for this family. Show them where to establish their home, whether in the U.S. or in India, and make the path clear before them. Remove any confusion or fear, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray for protection over their marriage and family, that no weapon formed against them would prosper, and that You would shield them from the enemy’s attacks. Bring conviction to the hearts of her in-laws, Lord, and grant her favor in their eyes and in the eyes of all she encounters.

Father, we ask that You would restore what has been lost in this marriage. Heal the wounds of separation and renew their love for one another daily. Ignite a fresh passion in their hearts, that they would prioritize their relationship and model a godly marriage for their daughters. Provide for their financial needs, Lord, and open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Bless their parents as well, and surround them with Your peace and protection.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You. Let them seek Your face daily, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105). Surround them with a community of believers who can support and encourage them, and let them feel Your presence in every step they take. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we declare that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
