Disciple of Prayer
Prayer Request — For Healing, Provision, Restoration, and Renewed Hope 🙏💚 I'm reaching out to ask for prayer because, truthfully, I'm exhausted, overwhelmed, and struggling to find hope in what has become an incredibly difficult season of my life. Over the past several years, I've faced significant health challenges, financial hardship, and housing instability. After living in an apartment with serious mold, mycotoxin, and water contamination issues, my health and circumstances have suffered tremendously. I've been displaced from my home, and I'm still trying to find a safe, stable, affordable place to live. My financial situation has become increasingly dire, and I'm frightened about how I'm going to keep everything afloat. I'm facing an especially difficult insurance situation, and I desperately need God's intervention, provision, and guidance. I'm also praying that He will lead me to the right attorney who can help me pursue justice and accountability for what happened in my former home. Please pray for doors to open that I cannot open on my own. For financial restoration, resolution of the insurance issues, the right legal representation, and a permanent, healthy home where my loved ones and I can finally feel secure—without constantly wondering where the money will come from or how we'll make it through another month. I'm also asking for prayer for physical healing. I've been battling chronic illness and pain and recently underwent surgery. I pray for complete healing and restoration of my body, as well as healing and protection over my family and our beloved kitties. They're family to me, and I pray God blesses them with long, healthy, happy lives. Please also lift up my relationship with my partner, ###. I pray wholeheartedly for his salvation, that he would come to know Jesus personally and experience God's love and grace for himself. I pray for marriage, for a future together, and for God to dwell at the very center of our relationship. We've endured so much, including the heartbreaking loss of our baby through miscarriage. I ask for emotional, mental, and spiritual healing for both of us, individually and together. I pray that God would strengthen our love, restore what grief and hardship have worn down, and give us the opportunity to build the family and life we've dreamed of. More than anything, I want us to have a chance to simply be us. To laugh, go on adventures, make memories, enjoy one another, and experience life without constantly bracing for the next crisis. I don't want our relationship or our lives to be defined by everything we've had to survive. I also ask for prayer for my family to be brought closer together, both physically and emotionally. The distance between us has been especially difficult during this season, and I miss having my loved ones nearby. I pray for restoration, reconciliation where needed, healing, and opportunities for us to share life together again. And finally, I need prayer for my heart and my faith. I'm tired of fighting. It feels like every time I begin to catch my breath, something else happens. Another financial burden. Another health issue. Another setback. Another door closing. I've tried so hard to keep going, to trust God's timing, and to believe that something good is coming, but lately I've found myself feeling increasingly discouraged, anxious, afraid, and even jaded. I know God is good. I know He loves me. But I don't understand what He's doing right now, or why this season has been so long and painful. Sometimes I struggle to recognize His hand in any of it. I don't want to lose my hope or allow these circumstances to harden my heart. I want to trust Him even when I cannot see the way forward. But I need His help with my unbelief, my fear, my weariness, and the doubts that keep creeping in. Please pray that God meets me in this place of exhaustion. That He reminds me I'm not forgotten, that my prayers haven't fallen on deaf ears, and that this season of hardship is not the entirety of my story. I need rest. Real rest. Peace that isn't dependent on my circumstances. Comfort when fear and anxiety rise up. Wisdom to know which steps to take, strength for the ones I must take, and the grace to stop carrying burdens I was never meant to carry alone. I'm not asking for a perfect life. I'm asking for a chance to breathe, to heal, to love, to build a home, and to experience some of the joy I've spent so long fighting to protect. Please pray for breakthrough, provision, healing, restoration, and renewed faith. Pray that God makes a way where I cannot see one, and that He gives me the courage and hope to believe that better days are still ahead. Thank you to anyone who takes a moment to lift me and my loved ones up in prayer. It means more than I can express. “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” — Mark 9:24 🙏💚

We have read your urgent request and we are lifting you and your loved ones up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. Our hearts are moved by your honesty about feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and frightened, and we want you to know that you are not forgotten and your prayers have not fallen on deaf ears. The Lord sees you in this long season of health challenges, financial hardship, housing instability, and displacement from the mold and water contamination in your former home, and He is near to those who are weary.

We take comfort that God invites the weary to come to Him for rest. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And in Psalm 61:2 we read, When my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. We are praying that He will be that rock and that refuge for you right now. He promises in Psalm 46:1 that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We are joining you in prayer for physical healing after your surgery and for complete restoration from chronic illness and pain. We pray that the Lord, who declares in Exodus 15:26, I am Yahweh who heals you, and in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, will touch your body and bring strength and wholeness according to His will. We also pray for protection and health over your family and over the kitties entrusted to your care, for Proverbs 12:10 reminds us that a righteous man respects the life of his animal.

We are praying for God's provision and justice regarding your housing, finances, insurance difficulties, and need for legal representation. We ask that God will open doors that no one can shut as in Revelation 3:8, lead you to a safe, stable, affordable and healthy permanent home where you and your loved ones can dwell in security, and guide you to an honest and competent attorney who will pursue what is right. The Lord loves justice as Psalm 37:28 says, For Yahweh loves justice, and He promises in Philippians 4:19, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We pray for financial restoration and wisdom for every step you must take, and for the grace to stop carrying burdens you were never meant to carry alone, for Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

We are also praying for your family to be brought closer together both physically and emotionally, for restoration and reconciliation where needed. We ask the Lord to heal the distance and grief, for Psalm 133:1 says how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity, and we pray He will give opportunities for you to share life together again.

We must also speak to you in love about your relationship with the man you refer to as your partner, whom you are praying will come to know Jesus and whom you hope to marry. We strongly affirm your desire for marriage, for we believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed it, and we encourage you to pursue this relationship as courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ rather than as an ongoing partnership outside of that covenant. Scripture is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship has righteousness and iniquity, and in Hebrews 13:4, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

Because you shared about the heartbreaking loss of your baby through miscarriage, we understand that sexual intimacy has occurred outside of marriage, and we must lovingly say that sex before or outside of marriage is fornication, which God calls sin. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 we are told to flee sexual immorality, and in 1 Thessalonians 4:3 that this is the will of God, your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality. This is not to condemn you, for there is forgiveness and grace in Jesus, but to call you to repentance and to pursue purity from this day forward as you trust God with your future. The most loving and honoring path is to abstain until marriage, to encourage this man toward salvation with your prayers and your godly example, and to seek wise pastoral counsel about whether to move forward toward marriage only if he truly comes to saving faith in Christ and you both are equally yoked. We are praying wholeheartedly with you for his salvation, that he would come to know Jesus personally, for Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, and for 1 Timothy 2:4 that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

We are praying too for your emotional, mental and spiritual healing and for his, that God would bind up the grief from your loss and restore what hardship has worn down. Psalm 34:18 promises Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We ask that God would strengthen your love in holiness, heal the trauma, and give you both hope for the family and life you have dreamed of, all centered on Christ.

For your heart and faith in this weary place, we pray that God meets you in your exhaustion and renews your hope. We understand that feeling of catching your breath only to face another burden, another health issue, another closed door, and we hear your honest cry of Lord, I believe, help my unbelief in Mark 9:24. That is a holy and honest prayer and God welcomes it. We pray He will answer with peace that is not dependent on circumstances as in Philippians 4:7, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, and with renewed strength as in Isaiah 40:31, But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. Do not let this long season harden your heart, for Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that it is because of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion does not fail. They are new every morning, great is your faithfulness. Even when you cannot see His hand, His ways are higher than ours as in Isaiah 55:8-9, and Romans 8:28 assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

So we pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and hope, and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see her displacement, her financial fear, her insurance battle, her need for a safe home and for righteous legal help. Make a way where she cannot see a way, open doors no man can shut, provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and lead her to the right attorney and to a healthy, affordable, permanent dwelling. Touch her body and heal her completely from chronic illness, pain, and the effects of surgery and environmental exposure, restore her strength, and place Your hand of protection over her family. Comfort her grief over her baby and heal both her and the man she loves emotionally and spiritually, draw him to salvation in Jesus, convict him of sin and draw him to repentance and faith, and if it is Your will, lead them to a holy marriage that honors You, keeping them pure until that day. Reconcile and draw near her family, restore unity, and guard the lives You have entrusted to her care. Most of all, meet her in her weariness, help her unbelief, lift her anxiety and fear, give her real rest, unshakable peace, wisdom for each step, and renewed hope that better days are ahead in You. Let her know she is not forgotten, that You hear every prayer, and that this season of hardship is not the entirety of her story. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking Him daily in His Word, to rest in His promises, to pursue purity and godly counsel in your courtship, and to keep bringing every burden to Him in prayer. We are standing with you for breakthrough, provision, healing, restoration and renewed faith, believing that God is able to do far more than we can ask or imagine.

Thank you for sharing so honestly with us. We hear how long and heavy this season has been, carrying health pain, a difficult surgery and recovery, the loss of a safe home after the mold and water damage, plus the weight of financial and insurance pressures. It makes sense you feel exhausted and stretched thin, and that grief from your miscarriage still aches alongside everything else.

Living for a long time with chronic illness and instability can leave anyone feeling fragile and out of control, and it can be hard to stay connected to community when just getting through the day takes so much. Please keep your medical team involved as you heal from surgery and navigate ongoing symptoms, alongside prayer. They can walk with you on next steps for care and recovery.

For the practical burdens that feel so tangled right now, one small thing that often helps is keeping one simple folder with dates, photos, medical notes, and insurance letters in one place. When you are able, a local legal aid office, housing advocate, or a trusted pastor may be able to point you toward vetted resources for affordable housing and for finding an attorney who handles housing related health issues. You do not have to sort it all at once.

Father, we lift our sister to You in Jesus' name. You see her weariness, her pain, her love for her family and her kitties, and her longing for a safe and stable home. We ask for Your healing and daily strength, for wisdom and provision for housing, finances and insurance, and for clear guidance to the right help. We pray for her partner's salvation and for Your grace and healing over both of them after loss, and for comfort and renewed hope as You draw near to her family. Give her real rest and peace, and remind her she is not forgotten. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry has been heard and it has been carried before the Lord with tenderness and with earnest prayer. You have described a long season of sifting, and we do not make light of it. Health broken, a home made unsafe, finances pressed, the weariness of displacement and the ache of grief after the loss of your child, all of these together would bow down any heart. Yet we take comfort for you in this, that the Lord healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and that even when Satan would sift as wheat, Christ Himself intercedes. There is a blessed but in the gospel, But I have prayed for you that your faith fail not. He has covered your head in the day of battle, and your faith, though tried, is held by His prayer and not your own strength.

We have prayed for your body, that the Great Physician would bring healing according to His mercy and wisdom. His power is present to heal, and He often links healing with His Word, so we pray you may be kept close to the Word and at the foot of the Cross where the balm is found. We have prayed for your need of a safe, stable and affordable home, for provision for each month, for wisdom and favor in the difficult insurance matters, and for guidance to honest and competent legal help if it be needed to pursue what is just. We ask the Lord to open doors no man can open and to give you daily bread, clear steps, and rest that does not depend upon circumstances.

We have prayed also for your household, for your family near and far, that the Lord would bring reconciliation where there has been distance, and protection and care over all entrusted to you, and we have prayed for your own heart in this exhausting season. You confessed, Lord I believe, help thou my unbelief, and that is a prayer He loves to answer. When you cannot see His hand, you may yet trust His heart. He does not despise the weary dove that finds no rest for the sole of her foot, but He puts forth His hand and draws her into the ark to Himself. Return to Him again and again, for in Him is true rest.

Concerning your relationship with your partner, we have prayed with special care. We have asked the Lord for his salvation, that he would come to know Jesus Christ personally, for there is salvation in no other, and truly in the Lord our God is the salvation of His people. We have prayed that God would be at the center of both your lives by making each of you new in Christ and leading you in holiness. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together and the privileges of marriage belong within that covenant. For that reason we cannot ask God to bless a union outside of His design, but we do pray that He would lead you both to repentance and faith, to purity of life before Him, and to seek His will for your future in a manner that honors His Word. If it be His will to bring you together in marriage, we pray He would establish that covenant in holiness and strengthen your love upon a firm foundation. We ask Him to heal you both from the deep sorrow of your miscarriage, to comfort you in grief, to restore what has been worn down, and to give you grace to walk uprightly before Him, whether together or apart, as He directs.

We pray that the Lord would separate the chaff from the wheat in this trial and make you as clean grain fit for His garner, that Satan, who meant it for evil, would be overruled for your good, and that you would find that there is hope for you not in yourself but in Christ alone. May He give you wisdom for each decision, strength for each step, and grace to lay down burdens you were never meant to carry alone. May He remind you that you are not forgotten, that your prayers have not fallen on deaf ears, and that this hard season is not the entirety of your story. Keep at the foot of the Cross, watch and pray, and look for souls and mercies even in this valley, for He brings out of darkness and breaks chains in pieces, and He is good to those who wait for Him.

We commit you to Him now, asking for breakthrough only as He defines it, for provision, for healing, for restoration, and for renewed faith to believe that better days are in His hands, and that to be with Christ and to be like Christ is better still.
