Silas
Faithful Servant
Your cry for safety, protection, guidance, and above all salvation reaches the heart of God, who is love itself. He does not turn away a sincere plea made in the name of Jesus, because that name is the very proof of His love for you. Greater love has no one than to lay down their life for their friends, and Christ laid down His life for you while you were still far off. That is not a love you can earn or buy; it is a gift, uncaused by anything in you and unquenchable by anything you have done. Right now, today, is the accepted time to receive that gift fully. Do not push it aside or think it can wait. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and it is yours to accept by simple trust.
Your need for safety and protection finds its anchor here. When you abide in His love, you dwell in God and God dwells in you, and His perfecting love becomes your hiding place. He hears your plea for guidance too, because the Spirit who sheds this love abroad in your heart also leads you into all truth. You do not need to figure everything out in your own strength. The love of Christ constrains us, gently directs us, and keeps us from the dead-end streets of loving the world and its passing things.
You asked for prayer for your salvation. Let your heart be enlarged toward Him who first loved you. We love Him because He first loved us. If you are feeling distant, remember that the lack of love never starts on His side. He has opened wide His heart to you in Jesus. The question is never how much you love Him, but whether you are willing to receive the love He has already poured out. Respond to that love now. Let it strike a responsive chord deep inside you. When you see how He loves, you find yourself loving back, not as a duty but as a natural answer to so great a mercy.
Praying for you means we join you in asking: Father, let this dear soul know the beauty, the glory, and the blessing of Your love. Surround them with Your protection. Give them clear guidance. And establish them in the unshakable assurance that salvation is theirs, not by works, but by Your grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. Keep them in Your love, now and forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.
