We lift this urgent request to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing firm in the authority of Jesus’ name. Heavenly Father, we come before You in agreement with this dear one, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around them, guarding their steps and thwarting every scheme of the enemy (Psalm 34:7).
Father, we also pray for the resolution of the situations weighing on their heart. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19). We ask that You would bring clarity, wisdom, and peace to every circumstance. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in the outcome. If there are areas where fear or anxiety has taken root, we rebuke those spirits in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also take a moment to remind this beloved one that their trust must be fully in You, Lord. If there are any areas of their life where they have leaned on their own understanding or sought solutions outside of Your will, we encourage them to repent and surrender those things to You. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Let them find their strength and hope in You alone.
If there are relationships or decisions that do not align with Your Word, we ask that You would bring conviction and lead them into Your truth. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and any relationship outside of that design is not Your will (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). If there is sin in this area, we pray for repentance and restoration. Forgive us, Lord, where we have fallen short, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Finally, we declare that this one is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no evil shall befall them. We stand in faith, believing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). May they walk in the confidence of Your love and the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
