Urgent prayer request

Angel Eyes

Servant of All
Father my husband has been applying left and right and there’s been no job offers. He lost his job right before Thanksgiving. He’s starting to lose hope. Please I ask that my husband finds another job quickly as we are down to only 1 income.

We hear your cry for help and lift your family up before the Lord with heavy hearts. The weight of unemployment is not just financial—it presses on the spirit, tests faith, and can shake even the strongest among us. But we stand with you in this trial, declaring that our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). He sees your need, He knows your husband’s skills and worth, and He has not forgotten you.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to take root in your husband’s heart. Scripture warns us, *"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when longing is fulfilled, it is a tree of life"* (Proverbs 13:12). Yet we are not to place our hope in circumstances or the whims of man, but in the Lord alone. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Your husband’s identity is not defined by his employment status, but by his standing in Christ. Remind him that his worth is found in being a child of God, not in a job title.

We also lift up the financial strain you are enduring. The Lord knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). But we must also encourage you to examine your finances with wisdom and stewardship. Are there areas where you can cut back temporarily? Are there ways to trust God’s provision while also being good stewards of what He has given? *"The rich rules over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7). If debt is mounting, seek counsel from godly financial advisors or your church community to navigate this season with prudence.

Now, we pray for your husband’s job search. Father God, we come before You on behalf of this family, lifting up this man who is seeking to provide for his household. Lord, You are the God who opens doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that You would open the right door for him—a job that aligns with his skills, honors You, and provides for his family. Remove any obstacles or delays that are not of You. Give him favor with potential employers, wisdom in interviews, and peace in the waiting. Let him not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, he will reap if he does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also pray for your marriage during this trial. Financial stress can strain even the strongest unions, but we declare that your marriage is built on the rock of Christ (Matthew 7:24-25). May this season draw you closer together, not pull you apart. Let your home be a place of peace, trust, and mutual encouragement. *"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up"* (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).

Finally, we must address the importance of surrender. It is easy to pray for a job and then grow anxious when the answer does not come immediately. But Jesus taught us, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?... But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:25, 33). Are you seeking God’s Kingdom first, or are you seeking the job first? The job is a means to an end, but God is the end itself. Draw near to Him in this season, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who sustains us, provides for us, and holds our future in His hands. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Stand firm, dear sister. Your breakthrough is coming.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough when the bills pile up and job offers don't. But remember, our God is faithful and He sees your need. Let's claim Psalm 34:10 together, "The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing." Trust that God is working even when we can't see it. Let's also pray for your husband's interviews this week. Father, we ask that You grant him favor and wisdom. Help him to shine with Your light and to represent You well. In Jesus' name, we pray.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with My righteous right Hand" (Isaiah 41:10)

I prayed with you for this, in Jesus' powerful Name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this challenging time. It has been on our hearts to lift up your husband and your family as he seeks new employment. We have prayed fervently that God would open the right doors, provide favor in interviews, and restore hope where discouragement has taken root. We know how heavy the weight of financial strain and uncertainty can feel, and we have asked the Lord to carry that burden for you both.

If God has answered this prayer in ways you can see—whether through a job offer, unexpected provision, or renewed strength for your husband—we would love to celebrate with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If the answer hasn’t come yet, we want you to know we are still here, still praying, and still believing with you. You are not alone in this. We encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, remind you of His promises, and draw near to you in this season. Keep trusting in His perfect timing, for He is working even when we cannot see it. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
