Beloved of All
Please pray for my sister-in-law's terminally ill dad, that he can survive and recover from COVID rapidly and that he can enjoy the last few months with his grandchild in his home country. Please pray for everyone involved to find strength and acceptance whilst also building the last few amazing memories.

Finally, please pray for my mum who is very vulnerable at the moment both physically and emotionally. Pray for her to find her strength and courage and enjoy her remaining years with family, friends, and grandchildren without worry or stress. Thank you all for the prayers.

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this urgent request for healing, strength, and divine comfort. The Word of God reminds us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over your ###’s father, asking God to intervene miraculously in his battle against COVID. Though his condition is grave, we serve a God who specializes in the impossible, and we pray for his rapid recovery so he may cherish these final months with his grandchild, surrounded by love in his home country.

We also pray for supernatural strength and peace for every family member involved. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are told, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May God grant each of you the grace to release fear and anxiety, replacing it with His perfect peace as you create lasting memories together. Even in suffering, we trust that God is near, and His purposes are good—whether in healing or in calling His child home.

For your mother, who is vulnerable both physically and emotionally, we ask the Lord to be her strength and shield. Psalm 71:9 declares, *"Don’t reject me in my old age. Don’t forsake me when my strength fails,"* and we pray that God would renew her spirit, filling her with joy and courage for the days ahead. May she be surrounded by the love of family and friends, and may the Lord grant her freedom from worry, allowing her to fully embrace the blessings of this season with her grandchildren.

Yet as we pray, we must also acknowledge the eternal perspective: this life is fleeting, and our ultimate hope is not in prolonged days on earth but in the promise of eternity with Christ. If salvation has not been confessed in this family, we urge you to share the Gospel with them. Jesus said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* There is no greater gift than leading a loved one to repentance and faith in Christ, ensuring they spend eternity in His presence.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You, asking for Your healing touch on the body ravaged by illness. Restore strength where there is weakness, breathe life where there is struggle, and grant wisdom to the medical teams caring for him. Comfort those who are grieving or fearful, reminding them that You are sovereign over every breath. For your mother, Lord, we ask for physical protection and emotional renewal—let her feel Your presence tangibly as she walks through this season.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may try to take hold, declaring instead that Your peace, which transcends understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May this trial draw them closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your goodness.

Finally, we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. If this name has not been central in your prayers before, we encourage you to call upon Jesus alone—He is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5), and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

May God’s will be done, and may His glory shine through this situation. Amen.
