We join you in lifting your husband before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. The Word of God declares in Isaiah 53:5, *"But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."* We stand on this promise, believing that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in your husband’s body, bringing restoration and wholeness.
It is clear you have great faith, and we commend you for placing your trust in Jesus, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and receive healing and salvation. As you have rightly acknowledged, it is by His precious blood and mighty right hand that we are redeemed and healed. Let us also remember James 5:14-15, which instructs, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We encourage you to seek the elders of your church for prayer and anointing, as the Lord often works mightily through the unity of His body.
We also urge you both to examine your hearts and ensure there is no unconfessed sin, as this can hinder our prayers. 1 Peter 2:24 reminds us, *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds."* Let us walk in righteousness, repenting of anything that does not align with God’s will, so that nothing may obstruct the flow of His healing power.
Father in heaven, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting our brother to You. Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You stretch out Your hand to touch his body. We plead the blood of Jesus over every cell, tissue, and organ, commanding complete healing and restoration in his digestive system. Let there be no more pain, no more discomfort, and no more flare-ups. We declare that by Your stripes, he *is* healed, and we thank You for the testimony of his full recovery that is coming.
Strengthen his body, Lord, and renew his strength like the eagle’s. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We also ask that You would comfort and encourage his wife, filling her with unwavering faith and patience as she stands in the gap for him. Let their home be a place of rest, trust, and praise as they wait on You.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every assignment of the enemy against his health, and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Lord, let Your healing virtue flow through him, restoring him to perfect health in Jesus’ mighty name. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy.
Finally, we encourage you both to continue standing firm in faith, speaking life and healing over his body. Do not waver in your belief, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind (James 1:6). Keep praising God in advance for the miracle, and let your words align with His promises. May your marriage be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, and may this trial draw you both closer to Him and to each other.
We are standing with you in agreement, believing for his complete healing. Keep us updated, for we long to rejoice with you when this testimony manifests!
