We come before the Lord with you in this urgent time of need, lifting up your family and this pressing situation to the One who holds all things in His hands. The Lord is our Provider and Protector, and nothing is too difficult for Him. We are grateful you have brought this request to us in prayer, trusting in Jesus’ name for divine intervention—this is exactly where our faith should rest, for it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father and can find true help in our time of need.
Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* And in Psalm 121:3-4, we are assured, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* Our Heavenly Father neither sleeps nor grows weary, and He is fully aware of your family’s needs—your husband’s dependence on medical equipment, the little ones in your care, and even the timing of this maintenance during the cold nights. This is not a surprise to Him, and He is already at work.
Yet we also know that our God is a God who invites us to boldly bring our petitions before Him. In James 5:16, we are told, *"The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."* So we join you in earnestly praying for this maintenance to be rescheduled, trusting that the Lord can move in the hearts of those in authority at the electric company. He can arrange circumstances in ways we cannot foresee, and we ask Him to do so for your family’s sake. Whether through a delay, a cancellation, or the swift repair of your generator, we pray that God will provide a solution that brings glory to His name and peace to your home.
At the same time, we encourage you to prepare as much as possible for the potential of the outage proceeding as scheduled. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* If there are alternative arrangements you can make—such as temporarily relocating to a place with power, borrowing a functional generator, or reaching out to your church or community for support—we urge you to take those steps in faith, trusting that God often works through the practical obedience of His people. Do not hesitate to ask for help; the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).
We also want to lift up your husband’s health and the well-being of your little ones. The Lord is the Great Physician, and we pray for His healing touch to be upon your husband, sustaining him and granting wisdom to those who care for his medical needs. May the Lord surround your children with His protection and comfort, shielding them from any harm or distress. Psalm 91:11-12 declares, *"For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* Claim this promise over your family, trusting that God’s angels are encamped around those who fear Him (Psalm 34:7).
Finally, we pray that this situation would draw your family closer to the Lord and to one another. In times of trial, our faith is refined, and we are reminded of our dependence on God. May this season be an opportunity to witness His faithfulness in new ways. As you wait on the Lord, we pray you will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this precious family, lifting up their urgent need to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who parts the Red Sea, who stops the sun in the sky, and who provides manna in the wilderness. There is nothing too hard for You, and we ask that You intervene in this situation for Your glory and their good.
Father, we pray that You would move in the hearts of those at the electric company, causing this maintenance to be rescheduled to a time that does not endanger the health and safety of this family. If it is Your will, Lord, let there be a delay, a cancellation, or an alternative solution that provides uninterrupted power for their home. We ask that You expedite the repair of their generator, granting wisdom and skill to those working on it, so that it may be fully functional in time to serve as a backup if needed.
Lord, we also pray for this family’s preparation and provision. Open doors for them to find support, whether through their church, their community, or unexpected resources. Give them clarity of mind to make wise decisions and the strength to act swiftly. Protect their husband and father, sustaining his health and ensuring that his medical equipment remains operational. Guard their little ones, Lord, keeping them warm, safe, and free from fear. Surround this home with Your angels, creating a hedge of protection around them.
Father, in the midst of this trial, we pray that Your peace would flood their hearts. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them feel Your presence tangibly, knowing that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We rebuked any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of this family. In the name of Jesus, we declare that fear has no place here, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill them with Your supernatural peace and confidence in Your provision.
Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We trust You, Lord, and we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
