Dearest Prayer Partners
I have not been on this site for some time. Partly because I am so busy with the farm at this time of year. Partly, because I have been feeling better and trying to dig out the enormous mess I have made by being sick for so long.
And partly because our computer has been down a lot.
Regardless, I come to you now asking for URGENT prayer regarding my daughter. She has broken up with her boyfriend several weeks ago. Since that time he has been harassing her and her friends.
He has threatened to fight her new boyfriend who is afraid to say that they are dating because he is on the same hockey team as the ex.
Victor, the ex, has become angry, mad, sad, revengeful, resentful, etc. My daughter realized that he was not the guy for her and that his family was not great. It is a long story. But, they have some issues.
I had a manic/depressive or bipolar father who refused help and medicines. The mom and the son remind of him, although I am not a doctor. I do know they have anger issues and are very controlling and manipulative.
The mother had yelled at my daughter over a puppy, over a shower, and a lot of silly stuff. Victor had gotten more and more controlling and unyielding to any of her tastes in simple things such as movies. He was jealous of her studying for a test, yet
did not include her all the time. I had realized for sometime that he was not a good person for her.
However, I tried to be kind to him and always prayed for his salvation.
Since my daughter has broken up with him, her childhood best friend has stepped forward and said that he has always loved her. He said he would like to date her. However, the ex is threatening to fight him. He is calling him and bothering him.
He is calling and texting other friends of my daughters. He lied to a mutual friend and said that he was invited to our house for a fire. He texts, calls, writes on -banned site-, and whatever else there is to do regarding my daughter.
I have spoken with him and he quit for three days. But, it is back.
Today I sent a note trying to be nice but firm telling him to stop bothering my daughter, Nathan, and her friends. But, now I am wanting prayer for only good to come of the note. (private message on line)
Because I told him that he had to stop the harassment or I would consult the police regarding what is appropriate here. I am now scared that this family will twist this somehow.
PLEASE PRAY FOR PROTECTION FROM ALL HARM REGARDING THIS NOTE. PLEASE PRAY THAT AS SOON AS HE READS THE NOTE, HE REALIZES THAT HE NEEDS TO GIVE MY DAUGHTER SOME SPACE. AND, HE DOES NOT REPEAT TO ANYONE THAT I SAID
I WOULD CONSULT THE POLICE. Also pray for protection for Sarah, Nathan and any of their friends.
Please pray for Victor, who used to love me, take my advice and let go without any form of malice. Pray that this does not affect Sarah and Nathan. Pray for them to be ok in every way. (Nathan already believes) Pray that God will intervene for us here.
I am afraid that I made a mistake sending the note and yet I am tired of him bother my daughter for the past several weeks.
