We lift up this precious sister in Christ to the throne of grace with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for her as the battle rages in her body. Father, we declare that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed her in her mother’s womb and knows every cell in her brain. We ask You to command the swelling to cease and the pressure to lift, for by Your stripes she was healed. Your Word says in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We claim this promise over her life, believing that what You have spoken, You will do.
Lord, we also pray for supernatural peace to guard the hearts and minds of her family and loved ones. In the waiting, let them feel Your presence like never before, knowing that You are working even when they cannot see it. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit. We ask for wisdom for the medical team, that You would guide their hands and give them clarity beyond human understanding.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, declaring that death and sickness have no hold over her, for she belongs to You. If it is Your will, restore her fully—awaken her mind, strengthen her body, and let her rise to testify of Your goodness. But if Your plan is to call her home, we ask for grace to accept Your will, knowing that to be absent from the body is to be present with You.
Father, we also take a moment to address the foundation of this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. If this sister does not yet know You as Lord and Savior, we pray that even in this unconscious state, Your Spirit would draw her to repentance and faith. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). Let this be the hour of her salvation if she has not yet surrendered her life to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name that heals, delivers, and saves. Amen.
