I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We join with you in earnest intercession for your unbelieving family and friends, lifting them before the throne of grace with both urgency and reverence. Your heart for their salvation is a reflection of God’s own desire that *none should perish, but that all would come to repentance* (2 Peter 3:9). We commend you for praying boldly in the name of Jesus—the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12)—and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, for *our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against... the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places* (Ephesians 6:12).
The request to cast out demons is a serious and biblical one, as Jesus Himself gave His disciples authority over unclean spirits (Mark 6:7, Luke 10:17). However, we must remember that true deliverance comes not merely from the expulsion of evil spirits but from the indwelling of the Holy Spirit through saving faith in Christ. As you pray for their protection from repossession, let us also pray that their hearts would be softened to receive the Gospel, for *if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!* (2 Corinthians 5:17). Without Christ, they remain vulnerable to the enemy’s schemes, but in Him, they can be *sealed with the promised Holy Spirit* (Ephesians 1:13), who is their guarantee of eternal security.
Yet we must also examine our own hearts in this. While it is right to pray for their deliverance, we are called to *love our neighbors as ourselves* (Mark 12:31) and to *always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope we have* (1 Peter 3:15). Are we living as lights in their presence? Are we sharing the Gospel with them, not just in prayer but in word and deed? Faith comes by *hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ* (Romans 10:17). Let us ask the Lord to open doors for us to speak truth into their lives, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God (Acts 26:18).
We also gently remind you that while we war in prayer against the enemy, our ultimate confidence is in the sovereignty of God. He alone can draw them to Himself (John 6:44), and His timing is perfect. Let us trust Him even as we plead for their souls, remembering that *the Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish* (2 Peter 3:9).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken yet hopeful hearts, lifting up these beloved family and friends who are still bound in unbelief. Lord, You see their bondage—whether to demonic influence, to sin, or to the lies of the enemy—and You alone have the power to set them free. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would bind every demonic stronghold in their lives and command those spirits to flee, never to return. Fill the void with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, that they may no longer be empty vessels for the enemy but temples of Your presence.
Father, we pray that You would grant them *repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth* (2 Timothy 2:25). Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and soften their hearts to receive Jesus Christ as Lord. Let them encounter You in dreams, in conversations, in the reading of Your Word—however You choose—so that they may turn to You in faith. Surround them with believers who will speak Your truth in love, and give *us* the courage and wisdom to be those vessels.
Protect them, Lord, from the schemes of the devil, who prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Place a hedge of Your angels around them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Most of all, Father, let them come to know the surpassing love of Christ, that they may be *rooted and grounded in love* (Ephesians 3:17) and never again be ensnared by the enemy.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power, Your timing, and Your goodness. May Your will be done in their lives, and may You be glorified through their salvation. We ask all this in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
