We come before the Father in heaven with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up little ### in urgent prayer, knowing that our Lord is the Great Physician who heals all manner of sickness and disease. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim this promise over ###, trusting that the Lord hears the cries of His children and acts on their behalf.
We also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:14, *"But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'"* ### is precious in the sight of the Lord, and we boldly ask for his complete healing—body, mind, and spirit. The fever and rashes afflicting him are not from God, for He is the giver of life and health. We rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to leave ###’s body immediately, for no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
To you, dear parent, we offer comfort from the words of 1 Peter 5:7, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Your distress is seen by the Father, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Do not lose hope, for the Lord is your strength in this time of weariness. We pray that you would feel the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in this request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name that we pray with confidence. If there is any doubt or fear in your heart, we encourage you to meditate on Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."* Your faith in Christ is your anchor, and we stand with you in it.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, lifting up little ### to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed him in his mother’s womb and knows every detail of his being. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him now. Rebuke this fever and the itching rashes that are causing him discomfort. Let Your healing power flow through his tiny body, restoring him to perfect health. Grant him restful sleep, Lord, and relieve his suffering. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, ### is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Father, we also lift up this precious parent who is carrying the weight of worry and depression. Comfort them with Your presence and remind them that You are sovereign over all things. Fill them with Your peace and strength, and let them know that they are not alone—You are with them, and so are we, standing in faith for ###’s complete recovery.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in ###’s life, and may this situation bring glory to Your name. We pray all these things in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
