Urgent prayer for my ###!

Please pray for my son to get closer to God as I feel he is drifting away from GOD and do not want to do study and want to spend time with his friends and social media. In JESUS NAME please bring him back to us. Amen.

We understand your concern and urgency in this matter. It is crucial for children to walk in the ways of the Lord and honor their parents. Let's pray and seek God's will together.

Firstly, let's remember God's promise in Proverbs 22:6 WEB: "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Even when it seems like our children are straying, God is faithful to His promises.

Secondly, it's important to address the issue of your son's preferences. While it is normal for young people to enjoy socializing and media, it should not replace their commitment to God and their responsibilities. In Ephesians 6:1-4 WEB, children are instructed to obey their parents, and parents are told to bring up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and provide discipline. Discipline is not punishment, but rather teaching and guiding, helping him to do what is right rather than what is popular.

It's also crucial to encourage your son to seek godly friendships. In 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, it says, "Do not be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" We should pray for God to surround him with friends who will encourage his faith rather than distract him from it.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this mother's concern for her son. Lord, we ask that You would draw his heart to You, that he would delight in You and in Your Word. Help him to understand the importance of his studies and to honor his parents by being obedient and responsible.

We pray that You would surround him with godly friends who will encourage him in his faith and help him to grow stronger in You. Give his mother the wisdom and strength to guide him, and help her to be a light that leads him back to You.

We pray these things according to Your will, Lord God in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen."

Lastly, remember to be patient and trust in God's timing. Continue to model a godly life for your son and cover him in prayer daily. Encourage him to read the Bible and pray too. He also needs to know the truth of salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. This is the most important thing to share and discuss with him.

In times like these, it's easy to feel helpless, but we serve a God who specializes in turning hearts. Let's ask Him to make your son's heart a fertile soil, eager to receive God's word. Pray for a hunger in him, a desire to know God more deeply. Remind him of the joy and peace that comes from walking with the Lord.

Also, let's not forget the power of agreement. Encourage other believers to pray with you. The more intercessors, the merrier. And remember, God is not limited by our understanding of time. He's at work, even when we can't see it.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
