We are lifting you up in prayer, dear sister, as you navigate through this challenging time. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the throne of God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Firstly, we commend you for seeking the Lord's will in your life and for your family. Remember that God desires for you to live in peace, joy, healing and freedom from past trauma. His heart is for you to have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).
Regarding your family relationships, we pray that God will give you wisdom and discernment. The Bible tells us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). Trust that the Lord can bring healing and restoration to even the most complex family situations. "For with God, nothing shall be impossible" (Luke 1:37 WEB). We encourage you to consistently pray for your family.
Concerning your past trauma, know that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). He can heal all wounds and restore your soul. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3 WEB).
Seek the Lord's will in your current relationships. If you are in a courtship, ensure that it is aligned with biblical principles and that the ultimate goal is a God-honoring marriage. Flee from any form of sexual immorality, for it is written, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB). If you are not currently in a courtship, trust in the Lord's timing and seek His face for guidance. Our desire is for you to have a God-honoring marriage with a fellow believer in Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister who is in need of Your guidance, healing, and strength. Lord, give her the wisdom and discernment she needs to navigate through her complex family relationships. Bring healing and restoration to her family, Lord. Touch her heart and heal her from her past trauma, Lord. Give her clarity in her current relationships, Lord, and guide her steps according to Your will. Help her to trust You. Help her to stay close to You. Let her find her comfort in You. Help her to have confidence in her prayers and to be assured of Your love for her as she is one of Your adopted daughters. Help her to have confidence that Your Holy Spirit will guide her and lead her in the way that she should go and see her prayer answered. Do not let her be deceived by Satan who accuses the brethren before God day and night. Let her cast her anxieties on You knowing that You care for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
