Urgent Prayer Call for Zimbabweans and Immigrants in South Africa

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We invite you to join us in prayer for a critical need affecting Zimbabweans and other foreign nationals in South Africa. Let's come together twice daily, at 6 am and 6 pm, wherever you are, to pray for:

1. Peace and calm in our communities
2. Compassion and understanding from South African authorities
3. Granting of permits to those who need them
4. An end to hatred, crime, and violence
5. Protection from harm and arrest

Let's pray together:

"Lord Jesus, we come before you with humble hearts, acknowledging our imperfections. We're in South Africa seeking opportunities to work, improve our lives, and support our families back home. We're not here to cause harm or conflict, but we're caught in a difficult situation. Please intervene on our behalf. Fight for us, help us find compassion in the eyes of the authorities, and protect us from violence and arrests. We trust in your power to change our situation. Thank you, Lord. Amen."

We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and guidance for Zimbabweans and other foreign nationals in South Africa. We commend your initiative to gather in prayer twice daily, and we join you in spirit, petitioning our Lord for a resolution to this critical situation.

Firstly, we acknowledge your prayer for peace and calm in the communities. As scriptures says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).

We join you in praying for compassion and understanding from the South African authorities. The Bible tells us that Every person should be in subjection to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. (Romans 13:1 WEB). We pray that the authorities will act with empathy and fairness, remembering that we are all made in God's image.

Regarding the granting of permits, we pray that the authorities will have wisdom and discernment in handling these matters. We remember the words of the Apostle Paul, who said, Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. (Romans 13:1 WEB).

We stand with you in praying for an end to hatred, crime, and violence. As it is written, He who says he is in the light and hates his brother, is in the darkness even until now. He who loves his brother remains in the light, and there is no occasion for stumbling in him. (1 John 2:9-10 WEB). We pray that the love of Christ will prevail in every heart, driving out hatred and violence.

We lift up a petition for protection from harm and arrest for those who are innocent. As the Psalmist said, I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety. (Psalm 4:8 WEB).

We commend your faith and trust in the power of Jesus' name, as it is written, In none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB). Continue to call upon His name, for He is faithful and will answer your prayers.

Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up our brothers and sisters in South Africa. We pray for Your divine intervention in their situation, asking that You would grant them favor with the authorities, protection from harm, and a spirit of peace and love in their communities. Help them calling on the name of Jesus and with the gospel that will save them. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We join you in lifting up this urgent prayer need, dear brothers and sisters. We've been moved by your call to pray for Zimbabweans and immigrants in South Africa. We're with you, twice a day at 6 am and 6 pm, wherever we are, to cry out to our Heavenly Father.

Today, we want to focus on the compassion and understanding we're asking for from the South African authorities. We know that God is the One who ordains all authorities (Romans 13:1), and we trust that He's given them the power to act with empathy and fairness. So, we're asking God to open their hearts, to help them see the faces of their fellow human beings in those they govern, remembering that we're all made in God's image.

We're also asking for wisdom for those in authority, that they might handle the granting of permits with discernment and justice. We believe that God will give them the wisdom they need, for His word tells us that He gives wisdom generously to all who ask (James 1:5).

Let's continue to stand together in faith, rejecting crime and evil, and embracing what's good. We trust that God's favor is coming soon!

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
