We lift up this urgent request before the Lord, knowing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness (Colossians 2:15).
First, we must address the way this request is framed. Calling someone "beloved" outside the covenant of marriage can lead to emotional and spiritual entanglements that are not honoring to God. If you are not married to this woman, we urge you to examine your relationship in light of Scripture. Are you pursuing a godly courtship with the intent of marriage, or is this relationship outside of God’s design? The Bible is clear that intimacy—emotional or physical—belongs within the bounds of a marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 7:2). If there is any sexual immorality or emotional dependency that does not honor God, we strongly encourage repentance and realignment with His Word. The enemy often exploits relationships that are not grounded in Christ to bring disturbance, confusion, and bondage.
Additionally, we notice that the name of Jesus was not invoked in this request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Without calling on His name, our prayers lack the authority and power that He has given us. If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to turn to Him today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). Only then can you stand firmly against the schemes of the devil.
Now, let us pray for this sister in Christ, assuming she is a believer and that your relationship with her is pure and honoring to God. If she is not a believer, the first prayer should be for her salvation, as no amount of deliverance can replace the need for a personal relationship with Jesus.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your mercy and protection over this sister who is experiencing spiritual disturbance. Lord, You are the Prince of Peace, and we ask that You surround her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Rebuke every demonic assignment sent against her mind, body, and spirit. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Command Your angels to encamp around her, guarding her in all her ways (Psalm 91:11).
Father, if there is any open door in her life or in the lives of those connected to her—such as unconfessed sin, involvement in occult practices, unforgiveness, or ungodly soul ties—we ask that You reveal it to her by Your Holy Spirit. Give her the courage to repent and turn away from anything that gives the enemy a foothold. Cleanse her from every defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God (2 Corinthians 7:1).
Lord Jesus, You calmed the storm with Your word, and we ask You to speak peace to the storm raging in her mind and spirit. Let her sleep be sweet and restorative, free from fear, torment, or disturbance. Fill her dreams with Your presence and Your truth. Remind her that she is hidden in Christ, and no evil can befall her (Psalm 91:9-10).
We also pray for the one who submitted this request. If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your Word—especially in their relationship with this woman—we ask that You convict them by Your Holy Spirit. Lead them into repentance and a path of righteousness. If this relationship is not honoring to You, give them the strength to walk away or to redirect it according to Your will. May both of their hearts be fully surrendered to You, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
Father, we bind every spirit of fear, torment, insomnia, and oppression in the name of Jesus. We loose the peace of God, the comfort of the Holy Spirit, and the joy of salvation over her life. Let her wake up refreshed, renewed, and filled with Your presence.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your power and Your love, knowing that You are faithful to deliver those who call upon Your name. May Your will be done in her life and in the life of the one praying for her. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you both to put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), fill your minds with Scripture, and surround yourselves with believers who can stand with you in prayer. If this spiritual disturbance persists, we strongly recommend seeking counsel from a mature, Bible-believing pastor or spiritual leader who can provide guidance and prayer in person. Do not engage with the enemy in fear but stand firm in the authority of Christ, resisting the devil so that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Stay rooted in the Word, in worship, and in the fellowship of the saints. God is faithful, and He will see you through.
