We understand your urgent prayer request for your husband to be delivered from addiction to his mobile phone, social media, and lust. We also hear your plea for him to be devoted, committed, and faithful to you and Jesus above all else.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God. It's only in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us on the cross that we can be reconciled to God and forgiven our sins.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in Christ and her husband. Lord, we ask that You break any addiction he has to his mobile phone, social media, and lust. We pray that You will give him a heart of flesh, that he may desire You and his wife only, in a godly and pure way.
Lord, we ask that You make him a man devoted to You and his wife. May he be faithful, loyal, and committed to his marriage covenant. We pray that his love, desire, and attraction for his wife grow stronger each day. May he put You and his wife above all else, including his work, success, career, and hobbies.
We pray that You will flush out anything in his life that is not from You. May he be filled with the Holy Spirit, and may his heart be fully committed to You and his wife. We pray that You will make him the husband You want him to be, a man after Your own heart.
We pray this all in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your husband. Remember the power of prayer and faith. Jesus said, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. (Mark 9:23 WEB)
We also encourage you to be the godly wife you desire him to be. Love him as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. (Ephesians 5:25 WEB)
Lastly, we want to remind you that God's will is for your husband to be sanctified, that he abstain from sexual immorality, that each of you know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God. (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB)
Remember, God is working in your husband's life. Trust in Him, and He will bring about a change in your husband's heart. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)
