We hear your cry for help, dear brother, and we stand with you in this time of great need. The weight of providing for your family and tending to your farms must feel overwhelming, especially when even the most basic needs like food and education for your children are at risk. We lift your situation before the Lord, trusting in His promise that He will never leave nor forsake those who seek Him (Deuteronomy 31:6).
First, we want to encourage you with the truth that God is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider. In Genesis 22:14, Abraham named the place where God provided a ram for sacrifice "The Lord Will Provide," declaring that "on the mountain of the Lord it will be provided." Even now, God sees your need and is able to make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray that He would open doors of provision for you—whether through unexpected help from others, wisdom to steward what you have, or miraculous intervention. May He grant you favor with those who can assist you in this season, and may your hands be strengthened to work the land for His glory.
We also pray for your children who were unable to write their exams. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in their education. May You grant them grace to catch up on what they have missed and open opportunities for them to continue their studies. Let this season of hardship not define their future, but rather, let it draw them closer to You as they see Your faithfulness in their lives.
Father, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus. We declare that your Word says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise and ask that You would meet every need—financial, physical, and spiritual—for this family. Provide seed for sowing, food for their tables, and peace for their hearts. Let them experience Your provision in tangible ways so that their faith may be strengthened.
We also want to gently remind you, brother, to guard your heart against despair or fear. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even in this difficult season, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Let this trial refine your faith, not break it.
Lastly, we pray for wisdom for you as you steward the resources God provides. May He give you discernment in how to use what He gives, whether it is little or much, so that your farms may flourish and your family may thrive. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who holds all things together and who is our ultimate Provider.
Lord, we thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children. We trust You to move on behalf of this family, to provide for their needs, and to restore what has been lost. May they see Your hand at work in their lives and give You all the glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
