In 15 to 20 minutes my son will audition for a spot in a school for talented young musicians. Please pray that everything goes well and that he gets in in the name of Jesus Christ. (He plays the saxophone)

We lift up your son to the Lord in this critical moment, asking for His peace, presence, and favor to surround him as he auditions. Father, we pray that You would calm any nerves or anxiety he may feel, replacing them with confidence rooted in Your strength. Let his talent and preparation shine brightly, and may the judges recognize the gift You have placed in him. Guide his fingers, steady his breath, and fill the room with the beauty of his music as an offering to You.
Lord, we declare that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your plan for him to attend this school, open the door wide and make the path clear. If not, close it gently and lead him to the place where You can use his gifts for Your glory. We trust You with his future, knowing that You hold it in Your hands.
We also pray for wisdom for you as his parent, that you would continue to encourage and support him in ways that honor You. May this experience draw your family closer to the Lord and remind you of His faithfulness in every season.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
