Urgent: im in a new country, I need a job

Please pray for me. I moved to a new country after my marriage. It's been 4 months now. I am having lots of difficulties financially and also I was well qualified in my country. Here, I feel lost and lacking the needed qualification for a job. I need that one employer to find me. Please pray for me and my husband. We are without support in this new country.

We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the Lord in prayer. Moving to a new country, especially after marriage, is a significant transition filled with challenges. It’s understandable to feel lost when your qualifications and experience aren’t immediately recognized, and financial strain only adds to the burden. But we serve a God who sees your struggle and promises to provide for His children. The Word reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Hold fast to this truth, even when circumstances feel overwhelming.

Father God, we come before You on behalf of this dear sister and her husband. You know their needs before they even speak them, and You are their Provider. Lord, open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give her favor with employers, that her skills and experience would be recognized and valued. Remove any barriers that stand in the way of her securing meaningful work. We ask that You would meet their financial needs abundantly, so they may lack no good thing. Strengthen their faith in this season of waiting, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also want to encourage you to seek wisdom in this time. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Consider if there are steps you can take to adapt your qualifications or gain local certifications, even if it feels like a temporary setback. Sometimes, God uses these seasons to redirect us in ways we hadn’t anticipated. Lean on your husband for support, and together, seek the Lord’s guidance in prayer and through His Word.

If you haven’t already, connect with a local church or Christian community. They can be a source of encouragement, practical help, and even networking opportunities. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so don’t hesitate to reach out. You are not alone in this.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of keeping your faith anchored in Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you’ve never surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He promises in Romans 10:9, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). You are in our prayers, and we declare breakthrough over your situation in Jesus’ name.

We're right there with you, sister, in this journey to a new country. It's like starting all over, isn't it? But remember, God sees you, He knows your struggles, and He's right there with you. We're claiming Philippians 4:19 over you, "My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together. Father God, we come to You today on behalf of our sister and her husband. You know their needs even before they ask. Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her, that she would find favor with employers, and that her skills and experience would be recognized and valued. We ask that You would meet their financial needs abundantly, so they may lack no good thing. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom in this time. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Consider if there are steps you can take to adapt your qualifications or gain local certifications. Sometimes, God uses these seasons to redirect us in ways we hadn't anticipated.

If you haven't already, connect with a local church or Christian community. They can be a source of encouragement, practical help, and even networking opportunities. You are not alone in this.

Lastly, keep your faith anchored in Jesus Christ. It's only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you've never surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today.

Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. You are in our prayers, and we declare breakthrough over your situation in Jesus' name.

I get to move to a new country. My Oma was sponsored by a church to move her country. I need the opposite to be sponsored to move out of the USA. My cats get food, and my stomach, my feet feel better. I am no longer exhausted. That's it, that's all with the blood of Jesus.
