We are here with you in spirit, bringing your urgent financial needs before the throne of God Almighty and Jesus Christ. We are thankful that you acknowledged Jesus in your request. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. We are advised that whatever we ask in His name, it will be granted, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13 WEB).
Firstly, we want Scripture shows that God cares about our needs and wants us to trust Him with every aspect of our lives, including our finances. Jesus taught us to pray, Give us today our daily bread (Matthew 6:11 WEB), and He assured us that our Heavenly Father knows that we need all these things (Matthew 6:32 WEB).
However, we must also remember that God's blessings are conditional on our obedience to His commands. The Bible tells us, But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today (Deuteronomy 8:18 NIV).
We must be mindful that it is by the sweat of our brow we will eat. We are encouraged to work and not rely on others or just expect God to provide. In 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB, it says, For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of urgent financial blessing and deliverance from debt and poverty. We ask, in the name of Jesus, that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that he/she would not have room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10 WEB).
Father, we pray for guidance and wisdom, that he/she would be a good steward of the resources You provide. We pray for opportunities for gainful employment or business ventures that would enable a quick and complete recovery from debt.
We also pray for spiritual discernment, that he/she would understand that true wealth comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ, and that material possessions are merely temporal.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful. He will meet your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Trust in Him, obey His commands, and work diligently. The Lord will see you through this challenging time. Do remember to pray with others as this is a command of God. Do not forsake the gathering of believers. If you are not in a group of believers, pray to God to put you in a group of believers.
