We are truly grateful for your fervent desire to see your husband touched by the Holy Spirit. Firstly we thank you for submitting the request In Jesus Name, for according to Acts WEB 4:12 there is no other name for salvation, nor any other way to access God.
Let us first address the issue of feeling unworthy. The Bible tells us that none of us are worthy on our own, but we are made worthy through the blood of Jesus Christ. As it is said in Ephesians WEB 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. So it is not by our worthiness we are saved or touched by the Spirit, but it is by the grace of Jesus.
Now, regarding the experience of being "slain in the Spirit," it is important to note that God works in different ways with each person. Not everyone will have the same physical manifestation or experience. What is most important is the inner work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts.
Let us pray together Psalms WEB 34:18 Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit. There is no magical formula for receiving the Holy Spirit or a divine encounter that is more about checklists than a right and seeking heart and being close to God.
We must consider that sometimes there may be things that block us from fully experiencing God's presence. It is said in Psalms WEB 66:18 If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened. So let us pray that if there is any hidden sin or unforgiveness in your husband's heart, that it would be revealed and dealt with. The power of forgiveness and confession is said in 1John WEB 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother in Christ. Lord, we ask that You reveal any hidden sin or hindrance in his life that may be blocking him from fully experiencing Your presence. We pray that You would give him a deep and abiding sense of Your love and acceptance, and that he would know that his worth is found in You alone.
We pray for a supernatural encounter with Jesus, that he would be filled to overflowing with Your Holy Spirit. We ask that You would grant him a deep and abiding sense of Your peace and presence, and that he would be empowered to live a life that is pleasing to You.
We claim these promises as per John WEB 14:13-14 Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.
We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Be encouraged by Galatians WEB 5:16-17, But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
